Amtrak's Southwest Chief and Union Pacific Veterans SD70ACE

The UP engineer is on the phone to call Department of Transportation immediately as the warning ⚠️ signal didn't activate on time per FRA guidelines and the crossing wasn't protected until the train hit the got there. Also going WB was Amtrak's SWC making a scheduled station stop.

@Ryochi2011 I love it. Bachmann stepped up their game on the Amtrak units for the last 7 years. I got the ACS-64 that runs on the NEC. Although not my territory I had to get it. I also have the SC-44 Midwest Charger and ALC-42 Charger. They run flawlessly and sound amazing. Love all of the lighting functions too. I still need to get Bachmann's latest release of the new Phase VII Charger.

@OutlawRailroader Yes they do. Typically visitors come down on Friday nights. However, they also will have dedicated Open House days as well.

@@Chitwn81 I'll have to come check it out sometime......been to elmhurst mrrc, but never got around to joining.....but where i live (Romeoville) ive thought about joining the Will county mrrc, and here i am, years clicking off, and no club.....lol.
