The section of the Jinties banking the 8F up the Lickey is probably my favorite part. The respective deep and high "wind" notes of the music made it seem like the engines were singing to each other the whole way up!

2:17 the train in the background is the reading lines crusader, from my knowledge was the readings only steam streamliner. it ran from reading terminal to the cnj terminal in nj, which are both still around to this day

A great video! 👍 Like how it highlights how these small, yet powerful locomotives were used for so many things. Such as banking, switching/shunting, small freights, and little passenger trains. Narrow gauge is also quite unique in it's appearance here. :D

1:38 i love how the es2 is included. Always was a fan of Milwaukee Road electrics (i have trainz, i have that model, and i know its by PWeiser because he is my go to for electrics under PRR, New Haven, Milwaukee Road, NYC, ETC)

I’m usually a fan of big steam and late era steam locomotives (think 1930 and afterwards) since the streamliners and articulated locomotives, which I like a lot tend to fall in these categories. That being said though I can’t deny that small engines like these have charm of their own!

These trains really are small. We havent forgotten about the tank locomotives. We have saddletank locomotives here too and small diesel locomotives and electric locomotives are here too. The small engines get stuff done too. We have them all in one video

That locomotive was Canadian national's first ever diesel bought to the railroad Built back in 1929. Tho it was Called 77, which was a proto-type diesel electric Locomotive.
