Little bit of a survey for anyone who sees this, but out of both season 1's which do you prefer?

BlasterBlade98 - Personally and if I'm being completely honest, I do prefer the original season 1. However, I do think it benefits alot more due to it being 65 episodes long, so the climax felt more epic and rewarding since it was a long wait for us to finally get there. The pacing was alot more slower too which can be seen as a negative, but I think that added more to each of the characters development and how they progressed throughout the season. On the other hand the V Series season 1 is nothing to gloss over, the animation quality is absolutely beautiful... it's like I'm watching a piece of art being brought to life through animation rather than it just being "another anime". A great example of this is episode 12 where Kai rides Dragonic Overlord against the Megacolony player, the way they portrayed Dragonic Overlord being this monstrosity of destruction was absolutely stunning, definitely one of my favourite episodes this season. Also I quite liked how alot of the characters got introduced considering how few episodes there are overall. Some of the characters could of done with a little bit more screen time and development (like Kenji in my opinion), but for the most part I think they gave us just enough information about each of the characters to have some sort of an understanding about who they are, but not too much so that they have some room to develop them further down the line. Overall I absolutely love the V Series so far, I hope they continue to improve as the series continues. But personally the original anime means too much to me, so that'll always be my preferred season 1 :) Now which of the original seasons do I like the most is tough one... I don't think I can choose since I liked them all for different reasons and feel like they supported each other. Except for Season 4... Season 4 I wasn't a fan of :S

Guardian285 I can respect that kind of thought process. For me, regardless of the animation and such, I prefer the original season one by a long shot. Although there were more episodes, which gave the chance for more development, I feel like the message was so much better. Majesty Lord Blaster being the answer to Aichi's struggle between negativity and positivity was actually really awesome to me, and the fights in season one were a bit more realistic and accurate with keeping track of the cards they actually got from draws and checks, which made it feel so much more alive. Some of the fights in the new season one did it as well, which made me satisfied, but I was hoping it would be more widespread and almost all the fights would be like that. Also psyqualia being accepted as a 'power' instead of a cheat like it was in the original season sort of upset me, since I align more with the original way of thinking, but yeah. Also the fights in the show were much more cinematic, I hope in the future they can combine the realism of actual fights with the cinematics from this season. I'll cut myself off before I talk too much tho XD

Pretty much everything you said about the original season 1 I can get behind and support... t-shirts and banners included lol xD I won't lie, it is quite strange to see psyqualia being more of an accepted power among the characters. It feels like it's just a "thing" rather than a "THING" if you know what I mean. I do wonder if they'll delve more into the story of psyqualia in the next season and give it more of a purpose like the original did. I'm aware the V Series is based off of the manga (which I haven't read) so I was expecting some major differences to occur within the story, but in all honesty I don't think anything can live up to the magic that the original seasons brought us :P But yeah, more realism with the new cinematic fights would definitely go a long way, it would make the cardfights genuinely feel more epic and have more worth to them in the long run :)

Original season 1 by a long shot. The og has way better characters development and fights. Seeing Aichi lose, get obsessed with power, fight past the darkness and eventually become a strong character was on of the main reasons I loved the vanguard anime. With the reboot, I only watch the anime because I like card game rather than liking the anime itself

Philosophical Films - I might end up showing it on the channel at some point as well as my other older decks, however I rebuilt my Liberator deck to be more of an anime deck by including more of a variety of cards that Aichi used from the anime. I'm breaking the rules of it already by playing 4 Blaster Blade Liberators, but I wanted to have more of a chance to either ride him on Grade 2 or call him for Balan to counter charge and Monarch Alfred's LB5 :P It's by no means a proper build but it's still fun to use :)

That’s awesome. It was personally my favorite deck Aichi played in the anime, minus his Majesty Lord Blaster Deck. I made a pretty standard Monarch Sanctuary Alfred deck and did a deck profile on my channel. Would still love to see your deck on it though! :) I always enjoy your videos!
