Miss Aramau this is kidnapping and a civilized conversation hostage situation. And it was exactly what the Doc needed.... I love how of all others it was you that got through to Him. And i hope you can adjust yourself with your newfound perspective Doc. While the series may be over i always loved your work I've always been a fan and I implore you not to stop creating such content.

Opening up is something I find hard to do. I'm trying hard to express how I feel more instead of just working all the time, but I have made the mistake all too often of either opening up at the wrong time, or to the wrong people who don't listen or understand me fully. I suppose I do use work as a distraction, and yeh, I do always forget to look after myself; staying up late, not getting enough sleep, working out to much (or not enough) and not taking enough time to meditate. It's not easy, but in a way it's nice to see that others also struggle with this but are finding ways that work for them to open up to people they can trust. It's nice to see a video like this where someone who does find it hard to open up isn't forced into it but is instead encouraged. Thank you for touching on this subject.

Not gonna lie, after every single AMWDW episode uploaded. This is my most favorite one because Dr Wolf himself has always helped those around him. And I'm glad to see him being the patient for a change and I honestly want him to believe that even he could talk about his own feelings as well. As for Dr Wolf, you rock, you're amazing and I consider you as one of the best people in the MLP Fandom. I hope everyone else sees that as well.

I can so relate to this. I always struggle with telling others how I feel in fear of hurting there feelings. For me it’s mostly cause I barely have anyone to talk about my feelings since I barely have any friends to talk too. Wish I did have someone to talk about my feelings. Which is why it’s hard for me to make friends when I don’t want to bother people or interrupt there lives. Which is probably why I’m always depressed and not having a job or something to give my life meaning. My life is at a stand still

I'm almost done with my undergrad at this rate and I'll plan on graduating with a bachelor's degree in psychology, minor in counseling, and a minor in studio art next spring. Something they made sure to teach me and other prospective psychotherapists day 1 of our introductory to counseling course is that, before you can help people learn about themselves, you first have to learn about yourself. That's why the professors have us reflect and talk about ourselves as it relates to the current topic whether it be on anger, forgiveness, multiculturalism, gratitude, mindfulness, or many other topics. Sometimes, the classes almost feel like a big group therapy session and I learned a lot about myself in those years. I think everyone practicing counseling, even if it is just for youtube, would benefit a lot from just going to one or two sessions themselves. Psychotherapy is really cool because it's not limited to mental illness. I think anyone who just wants to achieve a lot of personal growth would benefit.

Self love and self care are very important things. I get where Dr. Wolf is coming from where he’s afraid to hurt other people’s feelings and not burden them with his problems. But sometimes you can’t and or don’t have to deal with these issues alone. That’s why you have your loved ones to open up to and who support you. Your not alone.

I’m usually to stubborn for my own good. I keep stuff in that I know would be better told to a close friend than hiding it and letting them see the side of me that’s normal for them. I have trouble showing any other emotion other then anger were someone makes me mad, and I try to make sure they know I’m mad, not by telling them but letting them figure it out on the own, because I do this people don’t always knows that I am mad at them because I can’t pull myself to tell them that what they are doing upsets me. I’ve been improving in telling my close friends when stuff bothers me but I can tell I still have a long way to go, and I’m glad, I’m glad I know where I need to improve and that I’ve been improving. This show has been one thing that has really helped me open up, and I’m know I’ll never be able to repay what it did for me. Thank you mlp for changing my life.

I definitely agree with Aramau's point about how people inherently have selfish desires. It's important to remember that strength is a resource, not a personality trait. It's admirable to put others before yourself, but -- again to Aramau's point -- sometimes others can also gain fulfillment by helping and listening to you in turn. Opening up is difficult at times, but it helps to remember that listening is a two-way street.
@dragonmasterknight75 жыл бұрын
Doc. Take it from another who enjoys being there for others. It's never a problem to open up about your own issues. Sometimes those issues can be a good way to relate to others and maybe even give you or them an answer they might be missing. As for your fears, while they are understandable, you can't let them stop you from moving onward. Sometimes you'll be presented with a case where you have to relate more to yourself than your client. And that's okay. That means that you both are helping to solve a common problem while still giving aid to others. And as Aramau said, you don't have to let everything out at once. You can pick and choose what you're ready to talk about and when you wanna talk about it. Your friends, and even your fans< will be there for you when you're ready. To put it shortly doc, it doesn't have to always be " A Moment WITH Doctor Wolf", sometimes it can also be A Moment FOR Doctor Wolf.

I started to cry because I do relate to not opening up to others and I do struggle with this and even to this day I still struggle with it. I'm too focused on making sure others are happy that I forget to focus on myself every once in a while. But I've learned that its ok to be vulnerable every once in a while.

Hey Doc? Ari is right. For all of these years that have passed you have been helping with the problems of everyone and never talked for the problems you have despite what you have passed threw. Stop pretending your ok because that will just make you go more and more away from others and live you in despair again and again and again. Whatever happens,just talk to us. We are here till the very end and we will never let you down for the slyest mistake you have made. Do never forget that. Guz as you say. *Deep Breathing* It's good to be helping. Even a therapist needs a therapist. And I know that you're not a therapist IRL, but the point still holds true: we can't always be the strong one. Sometimes we need to be the one doing the leaning, rather than always being the support.

I guess for me, I rarely open up because a) I don't feel like anyone would care, or b) it's unimportant in my view. Maybe it's how I was raised, but I've learned to express myself through art and that's okay for me. At least there's a tangible display of emotion.

Opening up is something i sometimes need to be careful about. I love the mention and comparison to characters of Fruits Basket (it's my favorite manga and anime series and the 2019 series is living up to the reputation), and I guess my watching and reading it has allowed me to mature in some way about opening up when with the appropriate company, as sometimes I will open up to people in inappropriate times, or open up to people that take advantage instead of support me.

To say "Here, lean on me." is a great thing, but we must remember that there is nothing inherently wrong with saying "Can I lean on you?". ♫We all need somebody to lean on.♫ Hope this season where we remember a momentous event finds you and yours well and may you have an enjoyable and prosperous new year. Sorry for the rant, my favorite YT'ers do that to me. I *100000%* agree with Aramau, Doc. You are doing an amazing job, but - I personally disagree with that statement of yours about forgetting yourself. To me, that actually sounds like a dangerous thing to think about, especially if you have a tendency of taking things too far. I agree that helping others feels great and is important, but *you're important too!* Here's some words of wisdom from me and if you wish to ignore them, fine by me. "You can't help others before you have helped yourself." I live up to that statement myself, you know? I want to help others and grow in certain talents in order to better do so, but this last year, my own life situation wasn't letting me. So I had to fix that and now that I am doing so, I can strive towards doing what I wanted, learning the talents I want to improve on. I hope you keep this knowledge in mind. You might not need a new talent or to improve on your already impressive talents and skills, but you do need to make sure you don't forget yourself too much or for too long a time. If you do, Aramau would worry, Josh would worry and we, your viewers, would worry. Heck, I grew worried for you just by watching this video. Still, I can tell that the conversation helped and I hope that Aramau and you will have many more in the future.
