Dr. Wolf has the patience of a saint, the ending is adorable, the message is amazing and really hit close to home, like wow.... I have high expectations for myself, especially now that I have actually reached some milestones in my life. I take my failures way too hard and nitpick every mistake I make. I can really relate to Maddy. My brother does remind me of Mary Sue as well, carefree, annoying, and he is super smart, life seems to come easy to him..... But he cares about me more than anyone. He is protective and always has the best intentions. He makes me happy when no one else can.... I don't treat my brother as well as I should, and I need to be more grateful for being blessed with such a caring brother. Thanks for a great video Doc, this helped me.

You know I started watching the lighting bliss channel and then tf2 analysis as well as this series and kept hearing the name Mary Sue. Of course I knew nothing of this character and she quickly became this mare of mystery for me. So when I watched this video I was completely taken back when I finally saw Mary Sue. I think it was an amazing introduction to her to. Not only seeing the side of her personality most people see, but also stuff to do with her magic, the way she speaks, and the way she acts, including a deeper dive into the side that people don't see from her. The way and order all this was presented was perfect in both getting me to know the character better, but beautifully interweaving the message into the video. From that understanding alone got me emotional connected with this video and I also feel for what Maddie was going through. It all just made perfect sense and all snapped together to allow me to see both sides of the story. I was tearing up a bit to. So far this one is my favorite.

You know, I have the same problem as Maddie does, and, it really helps me to hear this and my friends are there to support me with the project that I haven't even tried to do or finished it. My personal life rough, stressful, and so many family members ask me for help since I'm the only girl in the family that's smart enough, responsible enough and someone who just graduated from high school, who haven't gone to college, yet, to be there for them than to do the project I wanted to do to bring smiles and entertainment.

I honestly feel the way Maddy does, I've had so many projects I dont even complete because I don't feel like others will even bother to notice how much effort I try to put into that project. That I just really need time alone but my friends just start dram left and right and I'm always dragged into it and I'm always so overwhelmed about stuff going on with me and the drama makes it worse, I just wish it would stop honestly, they seem to always point out how I screw up even if I have fixed it and it's just overwhelming.

J/K Seriously though, Given how Pony Maddie and Mary both come from the same person, it could be a construct of the outside perception of the person Maddie vs the reality of her. People see this great artist out there doing all these great things and think she can be the greatest... but reality is they don't see all the struggles Maddie does trying to get there and so gets that imposter mood goings and sees herself as this struggling failure. Reality is though somewhere in between. Maddie and Mary are two sides of the same person. The path and the product. Very few ever see anything more than the journey. Most just see the destination. The problem comes that each of usis always on the journey and wanting to always be at the -Destination. It is always there, haunting us, annoying us, driving us.... Madd...ie. We can't get rid of our destination either. For many it can be difficult to enjoy the journey. But the destination will never be reached with out it.
