This is the exact surgery that saved my life six years ago. My SVT was really really severe to the point I’d pass out many times a day. Among other complications from the condition. After my surgery my life improved so much...I still have some small fluttering here and there but it minor and I can live with it now. I really this helps you in the same way. My procedure took five hours. Much love to you for a speedy recovery. Love you and your channel.

I can empathize with you with the ablation. I had one done several years ago and it was not only scary, but stressful. I did good before the procedure but when they started "mapping" or making my heart race I got scared and emotional, started crying, I was a mess. I have to say the nurse was great she let me cry and she reassured me that everything was going to be fine. The weirdest thing was seeing the wires in my heart and watching them move with the heartbeat. Sorry your ablation didn't go as planned, but it is really good that the Dr was more concerned about your EDS. Sou is like they are definitely keeping your best interest in mind. Hope you feel better soon and take it easy.

Sorry to hear the procedure didn’t work out but you are so strong and brave. Praying that the doctors find the right meds and treatment to help you. I have SVTs also so I understand. Thanks again for all your hard work in making and editing videos to help educate us. Your Amazing!❤️

Two years ago just after Easter I suffered a large pulmonary embolism lung clot and had a catheter placed from my groin, through my heart and into my lungs through which tPa clot buster was dripped in for two days. Had 3 trips to the Intervention suite. A year later a friend had an ablation during which he threw a blood clot (he had one 9 years earlier in surgery). We're both on blood thinners for life. Hugs.

I saw the title and instantly knew what you were talking about, cuz I always used the term “getting my heart nuked.” Seeing you in the car explaining how the doctors couldn’t provoke an SVT at the opportune time brought back a flood of emotions. The doctors could never catch mine from age 11 to 19. Got really close one time, but the nurse denied me access to the ER, cuz he thought I was huffing aerosols. That same visit also got me suspended from the Track team. It was frustrating, but c'est la vie and that’s what I saw you express here. I really liked this video, cuz unlike you I tried to hide my SVT from everyone. I felt like a freak. Long story short…the perfect chain of events happened and my SVT was captured on a 5 lead by paramedics. I felt so vindicated that I finally knew I wasn’t a freak and had a legitimate medical condition. I wish I could have seen this video when I was 11. Anyhow…I had a 5-1/2 hr EP study with a successful ablation. Thanks for making your videos, I forgot about the emotional roller coaster that people have to endure while dealing with their medical issues, doctors, tests and the waiting…waiting…waiting. Your videos humbled me and made me realize, again, how lucky I was. On a lighter note, I do have a ton of funny post op recovery stories now. Thanks

My EP Study/Heart ablation was the easiest of all of the procedures/surgeries, but definitely the scariest!! I was 15 at the time and they told me my SVT may not show up during the EP study, but they soon figured out it was WAY too easy to set off my SVT. I just remember my surgeon yelling at them to turn off the music and not to let my heart get over 300... definitely terrifying! I was so glad when it was over, though..

I am 16 and recently had an EP study with a possible ablation to see if I had WPW a heart condition. I know that feeling! I ended up having two ablations done this year with the possibility of a third one. No sedation for both, which was pretty uncomfortable. I was diagnosed with atrial tachycardia, which is the least common version of SVT. Still on beta blockers since I ended up with a bit of VT, which is a bit of a bummer, but it's still way better than it used to be. I'm sorry to see that the EP study wasn't successful. Wishing you all the best with your recovery! 🧡

Body odour comes from the bacteria on your skin doing its life cycle. Along with sweat it requires a warm and semi stable environment. This is why armpits arm pits smell but not your face or neck etc when you work out. BUT if you don't wash after a workout it smells because its become a warmed and semi stable environment.
