Church is not a happening place unless the livestock get loose on the street and into the neighbors prize roses and flowers while the Pastor is preaching the longest sermon he ever preached. Fun Fact: Back in the 40's World War II Era when clothing became rationed the ladies of the house would use any scrap of material to make clothes for their family (not 100% sure if they used it just for the kids but I think it was just for the kids at first). They would use the the flour sacks to make children's clothes and the mill owners noticed this so they started printing designs on the flour sacks so as they looked good and well better than the plain white sacks that the flour originally came in. Hope you all understood what I meant there lol. I think that is how the sacks Amy found had colourful prints on them and that is a great way she used them and to still be able to keep that connection to both of their families. Just so sweet and just as sweet it was both of you cooking together in the kitchen, it was reaaly nice to see. Love From Scotland xxxx

Good morning, my sweet friend. I’ve always heard of cat head biscuits but never knew what they were until your first video of John making them. We always make gravy with milk. I knew you could make it with water for dinner meals but never had seen it done with breakfast gravy. I love learning something new. Daddy and I loved grits...butter and salt...no sugar, but the rest of the family didn’t like them. I never rem seeing Mama make them. When I moved to Shreveport I worked at LSU Medical Center and the ladies in the cafeteria could make some Amazing grits! Grits and bacon..that was my breakfast, Oh, Amy, for the first time since Christmas before last, my family was altogether for my birthday. I think I told you my precious niece was sick for about a year. Finally diagnosed at Vanderbilt in Nashville with Parkinson’s Disease on her 31st birthday. I hadn’t seen her since she became ill, thank you Covid! My birthday was complete when I was able to hug my baby girl. It is heartbreaking, but I’m trusting in the Lord to either heal or send the medical treatment that will bring her in remission. She owns my heart. Say prayer for Lauren. Haven’t forgotten about Jacqueline! Amy, I would have been so proud to have been yours or Johns momma. I love you, Lady Bug. Have a blessed week. 💜🙏🏻

Honey, I don’t mean to make you cry! I will give you something to make you 😊. In 1984 in Shreveport, a malignant tumor was found in my stomach. I was 33 years old. The drs painted me a dark picture. But without writing it all out, I will just say, when they got in there, there was no residual tumor in my stomach wall that had been there 2 weeks prior. They did a square inch biopsy- benign! They removed my gall bladder. The doctors were totally shocked but my church wasn’t! When I had my 6 month check up, the dr told me there was so many scars inside my stomach it was hard to determine which was the one for real. They were really looking for roots to my tumor. That was 37 years ago. Thank you Lord Jesus! And that wasn’t my only miracle. There is no way I should be alive. BUT GOD! No more tears....💜🙏🏻
