It's just more realistic, because the coat colours can also come from many other generations from the parents' families! But I do think they should have an option to set for "generation" or "custom".

There is a way to have them look like both dogs. You need to click on the DNA stream on the top instead of the paw when you go to make the puppy.

Hey, lovely video! I dont know if you have been told but the MC Command center allows you to choose the amount of sims in a household so more pets can be allowed. A bonus of this mod is custom-able story progression, I think you probably heard about this mod before but it is updated and works with cats and dogs.

I could see how people really want the coat to blend if its a crossbreed, but Sims 4 just made it like it is in real life. Puppies almost never get the exact pattern of their parrents and usually the parrents carry multiple patterns, even though they are not visible. This also makes it more internesting in my opinion. Just wanted to mention that :3

Oh the puppies in Sims 4 do have the exact patterns of the parents! :O And the only problem is then if you make custom coats you lose the coat entirely when you breed your puppies and they "inherit" a painted pattern you don't want to assign to your custom breed. It is kind of like... if you had dalmatian puppies and their spots turned out *identical* on every single puppy every single generation, yeah? That isn't really true to real life.

The breed mixer makes sense in some ways and doesn’t make sense in other ways lol. Puppies that are siblings can look completely different and have different breeds in them than the other puppies because dogs can have more than one father so the puppies having a completely different fur colour sort of makes sense. BUT! The fact that you are mixing the mother with only one other male dog and you get a completely different puppy makes no sense lol

Seri! Do you remember the charming kairosoft games? Well turns out there is a zoo game from them it's only in Japanese yet but the translation will probably come soon! It's called 発見どうぶつ公園 which translates to animal discovery park! I am really excited for when the translated version comes out but you could already pay the Japanese version. I would love to see more kairosoft games on your channel as small side series which you don't have to upload as often but I know you are an extremely busy person and you already have a lot of series going on so I don't want to push to hard on you! Anyways I just wanted to tell you because I love zoo games (such as zoo tycoon 2)! Oh yeah and recently kairosoft have also released their kind of "stardew valley" called 8-bit farm which is also very cool anyways I love your channel and keep up the good work!!

I counted you did it 4 times not 7, and you SHOULD count it out loud so your viewers know you're really randomizing as many times ar you tell them to. But when you did the first fur I'd counted 4 not 7 but maybe that's because you did it so fast that I'd missed the last 3. Don't t hink so though, but possible. BTW 'Count Dracula' being a puppet wouldn't mind if you counted out loud, I doubt he'd see that as you 'stepping on his toes' since that puppet was doing his 'counting' on sesame street to 'teach' the kids watching I think he'd more likely disaporove of you not counting out loud :P

Alpaca wasn’t going to be the next experiment, but no one had told her that. She seemed like a perfect dog, but she wasn’t the RIGHT dog, that was Bubblegum. The gluttonous couch potato that looked more like a cynical storm cloud than a poofy friend. Still, Seri wasn’t a cruel person in the slightest, and kept Alpaca around. Now they just had to tell her...

Personally I dont mind the babies coats not matching (or mixing) with the parent. I feel it adds some extra realism to it. Sometimes (keyword: sometimes) when dogs and cats breed the babies will be different colors than the parents- often when this happens the babies will be a different standard color of the breed (Ex: a red Australian Shepard and a black tri Australian Shepard may have babies that are merle colored).
