Sondra Locke was married to another guy when she was w/ Clint. She made millions suing him. I think Clint would have done okay with out her but hopefully the millions of dollars he paid her helped her recover before she died.

Paint Your Wagon was a much better movie than it has been given credit for being. The music was great and the singing was better than anyone thought it would be. Jean Seberg was wonderful in the movie. Clint Eastwood was a better singer than he was expected to be for a guy who hadn’t done much singing before the film. It seems to me he released an album after Paint Your Wagon. Jean Seberg was a beautiful woman with tremendous talent. I would say her death was suspicious and no one has ever tried to investigate the questions about her death to find answers.

@Felecia Wallace a little more complicated than that. No a Saint, but not a total sinner. The FBI culture has deteriorated to a horrid level, but primarily at the executive level. Poor leadership, unregulated ambition and cultural corruption. Hoover had a good grip on controlling corruption. Except for his own.

Being an Eastwood fan for nearly 50 years, this is the one thing that torques me about him. His promiscuity. Seems he had affairs just about everywhere he went. The man has talent, ability and an awesome on-screen presence. I even agree with most of his politics and opinions. But, I just wish he would have... well... kept it in his pants.

Paint you wagon was filmed just outside my town. I was only 4 at the time but some of my first memories was the filming of this movie. I remember my dad complaining about all the hippies in town. I also remember seeing the bear that was used in the movie. My grandpa talked about drinking in the bars with Lee Marvin. I have visited the movie site many times. I have heard the Eastwood- Seberg story's my hole life. It was odd the movie "Seberg " totally ignored this.

Well that makes you the same age as I am. I remember the movie in the theatres, but I never went to see it. I still have never seen the entire movie, only parts of it. It is sad that Eastwood deceived her. He was handsome, so a woman would fall for him. She left her husband for him; so when he started to ignore her, it must have been hard to take.

Sandra Locke also complained about CE destroying her career after they split up, he black listed her in Hollywood, i suspect he did the same to Jean who then went to France but ran into FBI problems there, all very tragic with the death of her infant son and confounded by all the affairs..

Wow! Too many times that affairs play out. The FBI was involved in this tragedy, she didn’t know how to figure out what affairs can do a person during their lifetime. Damaged credibility, messing with one’s livelihood, sanity, cold mind games. Clint Eastwood is a cold piece of work too, I lost a lot of respect for him, but I have to forgive him, a great example of cheating, unfaithfulness. A sad reminder video of never putting your eggs in one basket. RIH Ms. Seberg, Condolences to her son, family!

My dad absolutely LOVED "Paint Your Wagon" and actually took the whole family to watch it twice (This was 1969 so the only way to watch was in a theatre). The movie made fun of Mormons and their then-approval of bigamy. Ironically, Dad's oldest daughter married into the Mormon faith a few years later. Dad didn't object. I think he was just happy to have married her off. "The Simpsons" did a great satire of the film, with Bart expecting blood and gore from a film that starred Eastwood and Lee Marvin only to watch the two famous action stars *singing* (?!?). Marvin actually had a minor hit record as he growled "I was born under a wandrin' star". Gotta suspend some logic but it was a very enjoyable film with some memorable tunes.
