But isn’t that like thinking your worn out brake pads or rusted chipped and dented car is a reminder of the great memories driving it and getting years of use?! Well it may be but we still need to do maintenance on our cars if we want them to keep lasting well. There are a lot of people that don’t have cars or wrecked theirs but it’s not a sign of disrespect to them that I’m taking great care of my car. If anything doesn’t it show more appreciation for our lives and things when we maintain them well and treat them preciously?!

Judy Anne- I don't know what that lady used but I only use Dove or Cetaphil on my face. My secret weapon I have in my beauty arsenal is Tretinoin 0.05 cream.(Retin-A) you can get a script from your doctor. It's way better than any otc anti wrinkle creams. It lessens wrinkles, keeps blackheads away, shrinks pore size and fades dark spots. I'm 54 but people always think I'm at least 10 years younger. Exfoliate at least twice a week. Use a good sun screen because Tretinoin can make your skin sensitive to sun though. Use it at night and daytime use a good brand of hyaluronic acid. You can also take collagen peptides supplements to help work from the inside out. I hope this helps someone 😁👍

I studied at university and went to school all the lecturer and teachers, and many seminars, training, even read many books. None of these they were many, poor communicators , too fast, saying hum!! too many times, saying things without explanation, start a discussion and jumping on to something new, and not finishing which left me confused, and not grasping the meaning because it was broken communication and so much more , as well their tone of voice too fast, etc. Dr Berg should have been a teacher, a lecturer, a trainer etc. He is excellent in communicating the information. His tone o f voice is ideal , is not aggressive, or sharp,is smooth and not loud, he explains things so well he does not explain with dictating that is saying thing to us he explains thoroughly, this is what it means being engage with the people to communicate about information . even website they just give information that is short and meaningless without thorougher explanation. Dr Berg makes a such a good .positive contribution to this world .

Thank you for this video. Folate comes from "folic" and from the Latin "folium" which means leaf, so it is found in dark-green leafy vegetables such as endives, letuce, spinach, Brussels sprouts and broccoli. It is also present in green beans, all type of beans, dry peas, lentils and in fruits like strawberries, citrus, kiwi and melon. To preserve the folic acid which is beneficial to our body you have to eat most of them raw because boiling and cooking reduces the concentration of folic acid. So boil what you have to, but eat raw what you can.

I started doing Facerobics from the channel named that, and although I'm not completely sold on it fixing my entire face, it has made a difference in my eyelids, forehead, and my jawline. She explains that you have to do a full-face routine, not spot exercise, and you have to do it consistently for 5 days in a row every single week, increasing the reps, and following ONLY the routines in the Series Playlists. Trying to put your own routine together (even though she says you can in a few videos), may cause the opposite effect. It's very tricky, and you won't notice a difference for 5-6 months. My mouth corners have not improved at all, and I'm so tempted to get botox to lift this area, but I've been doing it since September, and do see enough improvement to continue doing it as Peta instructs. Definitely better than doing nothing. After turning 50, the changes in my face really started to go downhill....literally!

@@jwm4ever hi there. I don't follow any particular routine. It's just an exercise that I have seen done before and copied and now remember. It involves laying your pointer finger above your eyebrow and then trying to raise your eyebrow. Placing your finger there prevents you from actually creating any wrinkles. It's just basically resistance training but for the muscles above your eye. You can also place two fingers , one on top and one below your eye holding it open while you attempt to close it by using your muscles. I hope I explained that well enough. I'm sorry that's all I've got for you but it did work for me and I no longer have any sagging in the skin above my right eye. I can even draw a cat eye with eyeliner now on that eye ! Good luck! I think we should encourage everyone to enjoy aging and embrace it. Make the the most of your life at every age the way God intended. Character is much more important than your looks. Denying reality will only bring a feeling of not belonging. Wrinkles and gray hair are a part of life. You are still a valued person.❤️

Its not all about being vain. If you are not visually aging properly along side of your actual age then its a sign of improper self care and nutrition. Could affect your longevity and quality of life. You should take it as a sign that your body is telling you something.

I ate nothing but sardines for two weeks, along with intermittent fasting. Not intentionally, but I was just too busy to prepare meals. But the end of the 2 weeks my skin was glowing and I was noticeably thinner. I am now eating sardinesat least a few days every week! I put some salt and Tabasco on them and I'm good to go. I know it sounds gross to most Americans, and I understand that. But it helps if you can think of it as being like tuna. It is very similar to that. In fact, I make my son tuna fish sandwiches and use sardines instead of tuna, which is very high in mercury. Sardines don't have that issue. This societal attitude of folks of working age are the only people that matter is pushed in America (other developed countries). While anyone very young or old (non working) are seen as non viables not worthy of life. Hence, people need to stop allowing corporate world / marketing (ads) to rule your values / your world. People matter more than money / material things. Stay youthful, feed your soul by finding value in all people / all life.

Sadly lose of estrogen is the greatest ager menopause happens to everyone 45to 55 then you age estrogen is like a super power for your skin and body . But I do agree all other stuff helps a lot but sadly lowering estrogen in 40s begins real ageing in women .

I heard it's the steroids and hormones in the meat. Why the kids today are so muscular and tall compared to thirty years ago. An avg high school guy seems to be at least 6 feet tall and 180lbs. Look at the basketball players back in the 1980's, thin and tall, today they look like the football players of years ago...

Everyone was much thinner back then, including men and children. Fast food/junk food used to be special treats. And of course no internet, video games etc.

Thank you, Dr. Berg! I just want to say to all the comments that talk about embracing aging and it being a privilege. While you're right, and you ARE right, I don't think Dr. Berg suggests that we shouldn't accept aging or see it as a bad thing. He's simply suggesting ways of aging GRACEFULLY through healthier lifestyles and to perhaps not look older than you actually are. In the Old testament people lived 200 years and older which suggests they didn't age as quickly or look too old too quickly. I believe that had a lot to do with healthier eating, practices and lifestyles back in those times as opposed to the fast paced time we live in now and over exposure to harmful habits and processed foods of today, which didn't exist back then. Dr. Berg's videos are helping us to consider a healthier lifestyle all round which can improve things like aging too quickly. See it for what it is. It's good :)

I certainly don't eat corn more often than I did as a child. But corn is now in almost every single product and therefore difficult to avoid. Cornstarch is in all yogurt, all frozen dinners, some ice cream, chip dip, baked goods, and just about everything else. Corn syrup is also on most products including products we don't consider sweet, like wheat bread, ranch dressing, chicken noodle soup and mixed vegetables. If the curb subsidies ended we would all be much healthier

One of the things the Doc did not talk about was water. If you drink 4 litres of distilled water a day you'll lose 10 years of aging right away;i remember seeing on the news a who drank 6 600ml bottles of water a day and lost ten years and there was before and after photos-it's real.Staying hydrated and giving the body the water it NEED'S is a sure way of staying young for awhile longer.

Not just the face. The arms and rest of the body have the same issues. As for the wrinkles...be happy. It means YOU MADE IT! I almost didn't. I was told I had a very aggressive cancer and would not live much longer (not see age 50). Thankfully, my diagnosis was incorrect. So I'll take these wrinkles. Don't forget the mass majority of foods consumed are corn based and most all corn is GMO and loaded with insecticides that are genetically in the grain itself so that when the insect eats it, they will die. People are eating that corn too. I'd love a video on that one (please). Our pet food is also corn based. Pet food companies who produce better pet foods are able to price gouge the public because we want to feed our pets a decent food. Yet we (we = general public) turn around and eat corn based foods!

@@nancyfahey7518 Being low carb, there is no grain in my diet. I eliminated grain years ago simply because my body rejects it naturally (often called Celiac ). Sugar was also eliminated plus our body processes grain the same a sugar and it's stored as fat. Reading labels has become a way of life. The ONLY bacon with zero sugar is the low sodium kind. @WH20124 жыл бұрын
Blueberries don't directly provide collagen, however, they are rich in antioxidants/anthocyanins/vitamin C which aids in collagen assimilation and building by the body. And they are great for the brain; hence, the nickname "Brainberries". ;0)
