I’m 73. I was at the hair salon this week and an elderly couple entered the salon..a husband and wife. I said to my stylist, ‘it’s so sweet how they help each other’. They were slow to move around and were obviously struggling just to lower themselves into a chair. My stylist-friend quietly whispered, they’re only in their mid-60’s’. I was stunned speechless. I’m 71 and can’t believe it! I have eaten healthy all my life, but do have a slight sugar eating problem. 😅 I don’t think it is bad cuz I don’t eat a lot at a time, but do eat it every day, mostly dark chocolate. I’m outside in Florida most of the year and never wear sunscreen, or any face skin makeup. I think that’s terrible for your face. I only use oils like organic Castor and sesame seed oil on my face because I don’t like the chemical stuff. I do also pat my face with liquid MSM, after the oil, and also use that for eye drops. I’m always moving, gardening, playing pickle ball, playing with grandkids and hanging with friends. I do fast a few days a week, for 12 to 14 hours at a time. Then factor in UV coatings that is present on most windows sold today, and it's game over! Thanks for watching out for us, Doc! I'm on my 2nd week of Reuteri, and bought Dr Davis' book, Super Gut. I discovered in the appendix there are 2 strains I can take for my recurring diarrhea that was induced by a hospital stay where they destroyed my microbiome with a powerful antibiotic. Turning 60 was a huge and difficult birthday for me but I too feel 20 years younger because of a Keto lifestyle that I started just 3 years ago. Everyone has a great chance of sustaining youth with keto.

Keto made me age in 2020. Like I and others noticed. I quit keto and went to a low carb healthy diet and better now. Everyone is different I guess. Wild caught fish collagen is great stuff.

Why was it a difficult birthday? Another year of life.
@specialk25142 ай бұрын
@Kauffman578 Some milestone birthdays are difficult. For me it was about mortality. Reflecting on 60 years of accomplishments and challenges while imagining how to live a "best" life ahead. It's a lot to process while blowing out all of those birthday candles.

I go by "if you wouldn't eat or drink it, don't put it on your skin" because it goes straight into your system I live in a super sunny place in Australia and never use sunblock, doesn't taste very nice

For the past 30+ years I’ve used Lily of the Desert aloe Vera juice as a facial moisturizer. It is light (similar to water), cheap and non oily. Occasionally I’ll add a pinch of moisturizer to the aloe during the winter months. I like it. Just thought I’d share.

Speed Walk Monday-Friday 1 hour. Do dumbbell exercises, 5, 6 and 8lbs. Eat at 8 am and 4pm. Live in Puerto Rico and love the sun. Don’t get burned. Do not use moisturizer. Will be 70 in 2 weeks, God willing and people always comment that I do not look my age. Love your advice.

I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
