Explained very well Cam. Indeed is does 'appear' to be easier to play than it sounds... but I still can't accomplish sweep picking, it's frustrating because I can't understand why, is it my timing, my left hand or am I just too impatient? I am an adequate guitarist, well versed in Classic Rock styles and I havw made an asserted effort and wasted literally weeks of practice days, but sweep picking remains my kryptonite

The GG Charvel has to be one of the nicest axes out there, bar none
@gtrklem7 ай бұрын
Actually looks like a prototype of the GG Charvel or something. The trem isn't the floyd style and theres no switch between the volume and tone knobs. Everything else checks out. Cool guitar nonetheless.

@@dannyllerenatv8635 I actually think I would too. I have the roasted ash version of the GG and I love it, but I have another Charvel with a 510 that I feel has slightly better tuning stability and easier string changes.

Hey Cameron, I’m a huge fan of your content. I’ve got a question regarding the high E and B string EVH Spanish fly lick. I just can’t seem to get the quick 3 picks on the high E right. I really struggle with starting with an up stroke in it. Do you have any tips for how you learned to play it so well? Cheers
@CameronCooper6 ай бұрын
Thank you! I don't really have a tip except for what the video said. I started slow at first so i could figure out what i was doing and then repeated until it was comfortable and controllable at the tempo I wanted.
@sethp21886 ай бұрын
@@CameronCooper okay cool, I’m just gonna keep going at it and building up speed. Also one more quick question, what is a midrange price (6-$800) guitar that is great for capturing eddies tone? Been looking around for a while but I trust your word on it more than most.
@CameronCooper6 ай бұрын
Any Charvel, Jackson or EVH guitar will serve you well. The bulk of the tone comes down to the playing itself though. There's no fast track way of getting the sound.

Hello .. iam from indonesia .. i want to ask to you .. how to flex your little finger when playing the guitar??
@CameronCooper5 ай бұрын
Use your little finger more would be my answer. Try using your little finger instead of the ring finger to play the licks you already know. Will help you gain control of it quicker.
@Enda_Doank5 ай бұрын
@@CameronCooper Thank you for the answer. It's been almost three months since I've been practicing my fingering but it hasn't worked so my fingers feel sore. how long does it take to flex the ring finger? I'm still a beginner at playing guitar and what should I do??
@CameronCooper5 ай бұрын
@@Enda_Doank Try learning some chords that use all of your fingers. Learning some scales will help massively too. As for how long it takes, that comes down to how much you play.
