If you visit Tunisia, I recommend going to Sidi Bou Said, a beautiful seaside village. And when you are there, go to Carthage but plan for a full day to learn about the history of this amazing place.

Those are the Carthage ruins, not the Roman ones, and all the broken statues were destroyed by the Romans when they invaded Carthage

Yehdik rabbi, those are the ruins of the roman city of Carthage, that the romans built on top of the ruins of the carthaginian city of Carthage. Which makes those ruins Roman ruins. Even the remaining inscriptions are written in Latin.
