The Church of Antioch is in present day northern Syria and is origin of the Byzantine Orthodox in the Middle East. Some of these became also Catholic (Melkite or Greek Catholic Rite) in 1724 A.D. Both have churches all over the world now. I will post a link soon. Azar

@rockymaurer What do you mean by one union ? That word is ecumenism and it is considered heretical and dangerous by most Orthodox Churches who are not in Communion with the Papal Rome. Other Orthodox Churches who are in Full Communion with the Papal Rome did so because of their Church are dying out too fast ( before the advent of Islam from Saudi Arabia ) and its believers ( after the Advent of Islam from Saudi Arabia ) becoming muslims at a faster rate. Just to clarify.
