My sweet grandsons love to look in the sky and watch airplanes. One of them might, if the rapture is delayed, enjoy the sciences and how someone can be a Christian and be a scientist! My oldest grandson is just 4.5 years old and speaks fluent Hungarian and good English. He is being raised in a Christian home. When I hear the words Quantum physicist or Astro physicist I think of that someone whom I view as being very smart. I wouldn’t know the difference between the two. I will DuckDuckGo the two to find out how they are different.

Agreed! I was also a biochem major (applying to med school now), and I was always amazed by how all of science points to God, from quantum mechanics, to biochemistry, to physiology, to astronomy, etc. The more I study science, the more I appreciate God's handiwork! Dr. Hugh Ross is one of my favorite apologists, and I feel that one of God's callings in my life is to use science to bring others in my scientific/medical circles to Christ, and learning all of these amazing scientific evidence in the Bible, and Biblical evidence in science, is really mindblowing! One of my favorite ways to get people to think about this, is the remarkable science of Nutrition and health. Nutritional biochemistry, nutrigenomics/epigenetics, primarily. These fields essentially explain how nutrients affect our biochemistry, physiology, genetics, etc. The phytonutrients/antioxidants that God put in natural foods that come from the Earth, just like He made us from the Earth too! (fruits, vegetables, legumes/beans/lentils, whole grains like quinoa, amaranth, etc., nuts/seeds, herbs/spices, heal us in so many different ways! As a holistic health coach, I've seen first hand the incredible effects when people eat these foods! Check out Dr. Joel Fuhrman to learn more about this, he has a lot of amazing videos and lectures on here, books and an awesome website. Total game changer for health! God bless you!

I absolutely adore Dr Ross! When I was leaving the cultish sect I grew up in, I struggled for many years. I fluctuated between atheism & agnosticism. I couldn’t ever fully believe there was no higher power. I searched the texts & histories of every religion I could possibly find. There was only one, YHWH of the Bible that ever seemed to be a realistic possibility. There was also only one textual archive of a faith I could not poke holes in & it was the Bible. During this time his book really made a big difference for me. It was like a pebble in the path that led to the realization there is only one truth & it can only be found in Christ. The only name by which man may be saved! Praise God, He is so good, faithful, & full of grace for those who truly seek Him!

I was into 3 science fields while in collge, cell biology, history, and archaeology. Learning about the cells is like looking at the microcosm of the universe. You start to realize that the things you see in a wider scale is also in perfect design with those in the smallest detail of life. I agree with Dr. Ross, after learning about historical texts you can tell right away that the Bible is an actual historical record. The writers take the time to write the origins, genealogy and placements of ppl, measurements and instructions about buildings etc.

This required a deliberate, controlled, immediate beginning, otherwise life cannot begin... Cells are evolutionarily impossible when coming from scratch. Yeah when they write off the cell membrane as phospholipid it really undermines the complexity of it. Look at the philangium and all of its intricacies (not simple). MRNA polymerase, telomeres, and nucleic acid (ie DNA) doesn't exist in a vacuum cells also need lipids, polysaccharides, and proteins. Also oxidation is a serious consideration to the pseudoscientific Primordial Ooze. Vestigial organs is also bs; tonsils are part of the immune system, coccyx is an anchor point for muscle/ligaments/ and tendons (it also allows us to sit confortably), appendix aids GI biome, Spleen is a part of the lymphatic system and stores oxygenated blood (look into people that free dive for 5 plus minutes), etc. Also our ignorance of function doesn't equate to a lack of it... we literally discovered the interstitium is an organ just 3 years ago (it's debated, but it's an interconnected system of moving lymphatic fluid necessary for your immune cells working proficiently)... we literally thought it nothing more than connective tissue.

When I heard the majority Christian response at that time by the group from Answers in Genesis, I wasn't impressed or helped by them at all. It wasn't until my girlfriend gave me a couple of cassette tapes by Hugh Ross about science, scripture, and creation, that I first heard something that I wasn't hearing in any camp and he really helped me profoundly. I later met him, as he taught a bible study at my girlfriend's parent's house. Francis Bacon is often quoted as saying, "A little science estranges a man from God, a lot of science brings him back." The deeper I dig, the more I see His fingerprints everywhere.

I’m currently still reading a Christian book, The Story of the Cosmos: How the Heavens Declare the Glory of God; and a believer and follower of Christ, and also someone who loves tech and science, I experience a sheer joy that there are scientists and incredible minds who do not denounce God but lift Him through their life’s work and scientific professions. So many stigmas and stereotypes that automatically assumes someone who is into science is an automatic Darwinist or non-theist but that is not true at all. Most are just very confused and lost people without the Christ in their lives to give them the answers they seek.

Great video. As an engineer I've never felt a tug of war with my faith. I feel sorry for those who do.

@@greenguitarfish, it’s easy now to see that you don’t like it when people are being led to Christ.

Alisa, aside from this wonderful man's salvation account, I have to say I love your intro tune. It is so happy and perky, perfect for your channel and content. God bless you!!

As one who made his living in medical science, I’ve always had a keen interest in how science & the Bible enmesh… some 30 ago, I first ran into Hugh Ross when I read his book, The Fingerprint Of God… He brings a keen scientific mind and shows how science & scientific discovery continues to support the biblical account rather than conflicting with it… His many books are great reads…
