I doubt you'll remember but did they cut a lot of things out? I'm assuming they filmed much longer than 50 mins and edited it down for TV at the time.

I first saw her in a divey bar off Sixth Avenue before she became famous....in 1963...and I still remember one of her jokes about how she knew childbirth was painful...that her cousin Shiela screamed and screamed and was heard all over the neighborhood..........and that was just during conception.

She was so clever, and isn't it strange that after all the surgery she had, she died of a rather simple procedure done in a doctors office. I am 75, I have known her since I was allowed to listen to people that dropped the F bomb. Loved her ever since. And the last minute of her show, that was worth gold, and it was real. Thanks for having this on you tube, Sincerely, Bas Vancouver BC.
