Damn. I grew up in the 90s knowing Joan just from her talk show. Didn't see it much. But I never knew she was this quick fire brilliant. Probably my favorite aspect of stand up comedy is imagery. The show was not on at another time. He then of course would have supported her. She was airing opposite him on another channel in the exact same time spot. That is very different. I do not blame him. Sorry, it was a slap in the face to Johnny. I sided with him. Edgar, her husband was advising her then. He ended up committing suicide and I think that she left him a few months before.
