The McRib was created in 1981 while the Mexicano was created in 1984. The shape of the McRib as it exists now was created in 2006. While they look the same, they are different. The Mexicano is a mixture of beef, pork and chicken meat while the McRib only consists of pork.

If you say "THE classic, it really is Speciaal met Ketchup, that was the og before curry existed and imho the superior "Speciaal". I would say if he tries, try both versions see which speciaal he likes best. Original or Modern.

Also he could try a kapsalon or a shoarmarol, kipknots, jos brinkie, broodje bakpao or anything else the "New Kids" would order at their local snackbar.

Why foreigners eat all the snacks dry? You need mayonnaise, ketchup and hela curry saus. And peanut butter sauce highly recommended. Without the sauces it's just meh.

I always considered the bereklauw a failed snack. The idea is nice, a meatball with onion and satesauce. But the excution is always shoddy regardless of how good a snackbar/cafetaria might be.. I don't know the snackbar you went to but if it is an original one (not one of those shoarm/snackbar/pizzaria hybrids we ave now all over the place) he should be able to get a "Broodje Bal met ui" which is basically the same without killing the meatball and onion in the frying oil. In a proper snackbar he would also be able to get other Dutch classics like a Broodje Halfom, Broodje Warm Vlees, or Patatje Stoofvlees p.s don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with those hybrid eating places but if you would ask for said snack they look at you like they see water burning.

lol, one of the most iconic words in the Utrecht dialect. and it is *Dâkhoas*. tbf, it is a word that originated during WWII and was used in multiple places. It is just in Utrecht that it became a part of name calling/cursing. e.g Jij Agteluke dâkhoas, keje nie uikijke

As a Dutchie, your descriptions of the food don't have a very respectful tone. You can dislike the look, smell or taste of a food, that's fine. But find a better way to describe those feelings. Especially when you're standing in the snackbar itself within earshot of the (likely) owner.
