An Early Morning Hike To Ypsilon Lake In Rocky Mountain National Park

On an August morning I got up way too early to hike up into an area of Rocky Mountain National Park I had never been to before. I hoped for some nice sunrise light and some beautiful scenes, and I got more than I bargained for.

3:00 am all alone you are a brave heart. Wish I knew you I would love to accompany you. I can only dream of taking photos of these alpine lakes in the golden hour. For me, 5:00 am in Guanella pass and Great Sand Dunes is the earliest I have taken my favorite shots
