I have been knitting for over 75 years, off and on. I am still learning new and wonderful things. Thank you for this beautiful cast-on tip. I can't wait to use it.

I like how clear your camera focus is, how slowly you work each stitch, and how your words are precise. To cap it all off beautifully, you explain the characteristics and finished appearance of the cast on. (This is a format all yarn craft teachers might follow!)

You’re so cool! I cast on differently from everyone else here on the internet and my edge is like yours. I think maybe is also a Portuguese style like the way I knit with the yarn around my neck. ( Btw I’m Portuguese 😊) I’m going to check your tutorials for sure. Thanks for sharing this technique. 🙏👌🤩

Hi there. This is not the same as the invisible cast on, which I always use when starting double knitting. This one creates a lovely visible cast on edge with a double row of stitches. Have fun!

how would you finish the joining the tail when done in the round?
@dw94635 ай бұрын
I’d like to know also…can this be used as a stretchy cast on for socks?
@jeanietownsend4695 ай бұрын
Why join the tail? You knit to the slip stitch and don't knit it but drop it. The slip stitch will un slip stitch and just be a straight tail of yarn.
