Yo Pete to achieve a "transformer/warm sound could you you run a individual drum track signal through a limiter (in this case the Izotope vintage limiter) like you would on a Fairchild with a 1:1 ratio? Or would the limiter ruin the track during the mastering process Also your glasses are fresh.

REVEN6E Haha thx brother! Glad you dig the specs 🧐😂🙏🏻 You can certainly run Audio through the izotope vintage limiter to warm up your audio a bit. It’ll be fine as long as you don’t lower the threshold. Just leave it at zero and you should be good to go my man. As long as it’s physically not limiting there won’t be anything to worry about. Same applies for any other limiter or compressor. Use em as color boxes all day long... just leave the threshold off 🤙🏻😄

A little help needed ! While using audio to MIDI using "Detect Transient" on maybe the Kick In mic I have seen that the markers are not exactly aligned with the start of the kick drum. I know that its negligible but it really bugs me out. Please help me out.

Nero Das Not sure what to suggest, Nero, as I predominantly use Melodyne for my Audio to MIDI needs. Check out David Vignola over at Home Recording Made Easy... he’s got loads of S1 tech vids and is way better w S1 than even I am. Cheers.

Thank You Sir !

Hmm. This method will not work correctly with the snare pattern you have there. All the snare ghost notes are gated out. But thanks for the tip.
