really? Cut your nails? I was going to comment on happy it was to see an instructor who hands and nails were professional looking. Then i saw the comment below mine. I think your nails are fine. You have a very professional look about you as you are instructing how to use the molds. You know what you are say because you aren't "filling" air time with needless chatter. EXCELLENT instructor and instructions. (and professional looking hands) Enough for me to subscribe too! Thank you

Thank you so so much for this video. I'm just starting to play with fondant and gum paste. I didn't know that trick yet about popping it on the freezer, so that's extremely helpful for what I'm shit to do! Thanks!

Thank you for sharing these tips👍😀 Can i ask where you bought your letter mold?

What about using almond bark chocolate? Any suggestions? Other than don't use chocolate. People in my area don't like fondant or gum paste.

Great video! Clear and useful info. You could say, "the dingo ate my baby" and it would be okay because you can make more!!

Thank you :) just found out I can use shortening, instead of spray oil. Awesome. The letters have been a pain.. So I really do thank you. Xx

I recently used that baby mold and it was tough one to get out while keeping it's shape. What I would like to know is can I still use your method to remove the fondant from the mold if I need to paint hair color on the baby or if I would like to use a piece of fondant for a diaper on the baby. I know you mentioned condensation. So would that be a problem

Thank you so much. I bought an alphabet mold and have been trying to use melted chocolate with lots if failures! I don't have gumpaste, could I use modeling chocolate with this method?

That alphabet mold is frustrating 😓 I have to remold few times before it actually works.. But the result is gorgeous though. I'm using fondant, I'm dusting the mould generously with corn flour

@GreetingsFromFlorida8 жыл бұрын
It's a Martha Stewart alphabet mold. I own it, the letters are really cute and I don't find it hard to use either. The letters are a 1/2" high. Here is a link to them on Amazon www.amazon.com/Martha-Stewart-Crafts-Silicon-Alphabet/dp/B007IQWT6W/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1474244229&sr=1-1&keywords=martha+stewart+alphabet+mold

I don't have them but I am assuming that you are buying them new that you will wash them before use and only use them for food! #fps#

The First Impressions molds are high quality food grade silicon Greitcha. That's why they cost a small fortune. I hope you enjoyed watching the tutorial :)
@msg414110 жыл бұрын
Raewyn Read Yes I fully agree with you, Raewyn Read. My response re washing before use was for Sharon Rolland who mentioned about the Martha Stewart (alphabet) moulds being created for clay, soap etc. I am assuming the baby mould is First Impressions (which I have a few of) and the alphabet mould is Martha Stewart (which I do not have)! Keep up the good work!
