Absolutely. I have used cookie cutters for a number of the cakes I've done on the channel. Roll it out thin and use a cookie cutter

One video I had seen, suggested to put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes to hold shape. Have you done that as well ? So its not as soft coming out

You may want to do that for very thin or intricate molds.

so if your using these molds for clay you can use talc powder instead as it is just to stop sticking , ? right.

Why did you use powdered sugar on the top as you pushed the fondant into the mold and not like the corn starch like before. Wouldn't that make it more stcky?

You could use corn starch as well. The powdered sugar works too.
