30 years ago, my oldest daughters were playing on their bunk beds and the same thing happened. The younger one ended up with stitches in her eyebrow. Tell little Ben that she is 32 years old now, and no one can see the scar!!

Ben be proud of all the scars you get, they are your badges of courage. I hope Mommy is keeping track in a book "I love me" book of all your badges from anything you do in life. I had them for my kids & they were awe struck by what they had in there when they got older. If you are in the Army they make you keep an I love me book too.

Aww so sorry Ben got hurt. When I was his age my left eye had a run in with a hockey stick, ouch, requiring several stitches (corner of eye and under eyebrow). Thankfully that is an area that heals up nicely and quickly. Feel better soon Ben!!

My son, who is 36 now, used to love getting scars (after the pain was gone of course😂). I think he thought it made him look more macho. 😂 He actually has a scar in about the same place Ben has his stitches and it has not dissuaded the ladies in the least. Cheer up, Ben! You look so macho!! 😉

Mommy clingy 😍 It feels good when they feel bad and you know that you are their safe space. We had COVID back in August and my boy really struggled with his fever and his heart rate being a little fast. One night he came to my bed at about 2am and cuddled in. Right before he finally fell asleep he said "Being with you makes me feel better. Physically and emotionally. " 😍

I'm sure that by now Ben is feeling better. My dad was the most amazing man. At age 15 he was in a car accident and his head went through the windshield. He had scars above the eyebrow, along his jawline and neck. He had the most amazing and fanciful stories (different for different people) about where he got his scars. He always told guys that "women LOVE a man with a scar." I think it was true. Love to you Ben.

My son has scars on his face, too. One from a coffee table when he was a toddler, the other from a wake board. People enjoy his stories about them, even if they aren't 100% true. Ben might have fun creating tall tales and challenging listeners to figure out if they're accurate or not.

We use to always say "you should see the other guy" Sweet Ben. Scars tell stories. Always remember how much fun you had when you got the injury, how strong you were when you got the stitches, and how much you learned from the experience. You are much wiser then you were the day before! Still just as cute though!

My beautiful 4year old boy took a header into a door jam after tripping on a rug. 8 forehead stitches😞 been there momma! Sending love and good juju! He is so young, scar will be hard to detect when he is grown. Bless him, he'll always be a looker with a heart of gold!

My son split his forehead open when he was almost 3. He’d had several stitches right between the eyes. Good set of black eyes. He is in his upper 30’s and still has the scar. Hasn’t ever bothered him. Then again he had several more he has gotten over the years. He’s the tough one growing up. Never knew what was next since he never let anything slow him down. Now he’s just a well adjusted man and happy with a lot of life experiences.

Jess, It's awesome to see a smile on Ben's face after his accident. Give him a hug, and tell him my son say's having stitches, and a scar attracts the girls! My son felt the same way when he was younger, he was playing chase with his cousin in the house and lost his balance, went head first into the dining room table. We went to the ER, he got 14 stitches just above the eyebrow. This was 25 years ago. You can't see the scar now!

My cousin Corey took a boomerang to the face in 2009, he got several stitches right in his eyebrow just like Ben. He is 22 now, and still very handsome. When the hair grows back it probably won’t be super noticeable.

Feel better Ben. Don’t worry about the scar. My brother tagged me when we were playing chase through the house and I landed my forehead on the corner flashing of the entryway to the sunroom. 12 stitches straight down my forehead. I was 7 years old. It was never a big deal wearing the scar. If anything it just added to the scar stories. :) Now, 42 years later, you can hardly see it.

So glad Ben is ok. My younger brother has a scar on his forehead from pulling the blinds (the old metal type with sharp edges!) down on himself when he was supposed to be napping. He's still handsome, and so is Ben (as all your boys are!) Can't wait to see the barn!

Our young son was jumping on the bed and had to go to the hospital. I was working in the lab and my husband called and said don’t worry. I went to ER and he was in a papoose. I waited until they were done with him before going in. We lived 50 minutes away and took turns doing ER duty. Looks cool Ben.

When we built our first barn my little granddaughter asked what color was it going to b. I told her it will b red and she immediately said “it’s a real barn”. Now every time I see a red barn I think of that sweet little girl and know that barn is a REAL barn!!!

As a teenager, my son was mowing the lawn on Thanksgiving morning and the mower sliced through his shoe into his toe. His dad rushed him to the ER and now my son is 37 and we still reminisce. Feel better, Benny and you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! 🥰

Stitches are a rite of passage for most if not all young kids. I spent more time in the ER when my boys were young than I spent just about anywhere else.

It's so scary when our babies go through injuries etc... Ben is amazing and really, just looks like his eyebrow. So sorry that happened. My son also has a scar from a gash he got above his eyebrow when he was 4 from falling off his Grandma's porch while playing knights and dragons with his cousins. He says it's his "battle scar" and that it "shows true honor and bravery". Edit: I forgot to tell y'all Merry Christmas 🎄 even though where I live in Alabama we're looking at a 65 degree Christmas with 0% chance of snow.

My daughter who is now 32, has a total of 8 scars on her eyebrows and forehead for the very same reason. She used to go at life face first. All of those were during the year between 2 and 3. You can't even see the scars now. The ones in the eyebrows disappear from view quickly. Tell Ben to make up a good story about how he got the scar and let it go. IF he is like most farm kids this won't be his last set of stiches. God bless and I'm glad he is doing better.
