I went back, and looking at the beginning of the game, it seems Cinderella lost most of her memories of when she was human. So in a sense, Abe really was the one who raised her. Even though she doesn’t openly show it often, she really is her Mom 🥹. That was a great convo she had to cheer up her daughter!

What broke me was the crumbled papers notes found in the mini game, those five notes from the torn paper page to the neatly made one, i knew abe was a person to hide emotions, but wow the way she wrote those and how she referes to cinderella as her child, they couldnt have assert her role as her mom even harder. Like she was able to see through anachiro and see Cinderella's cries of despair and pleads for help.

😭 *1. (**11:54** - **12:10**)* Fittingly enough, the original story that Red Shoes was named after isn't exactly "a beautiful fairy tale" either. In fact, having looked it up, I would say it's quite a cruel and mean-spirited story. Certainly not H C Andersen's finest work, in my humble opinion. *2. (**16:55** - **17:17**)* Can't help but feel like part of this is the writers going "wink wink, nudge nudge" at the players.
