Absolutely lovely! Mark did a beautiful job on the cabinets. Everything looks wonderful - it’s such a warm, inviting, comfy room. I always enjoy the fact that one’s personality is evidenced in their design/decorating choices. Something unmentioned that instantly caught my eye was the bathroom door hardware with the older-style door handle & mechanism, also the slide lock. It adds a lot to the mood of the room. I’m sure it warms your heart each time you enter your “new” room! Edit: By the way, I envy you that nor’easter that’s coming. How I wish I was there!

It must be a ''thing'' people do because, we too found an old can of beer behind our bathroom wall when we renovated our old bathroom. It was an old tin Budweiser can, from 1968. I kept the old can and replaced it with a Coca Cola can from 2003 back into the new dry wall, new bathroom. This can be a fun find for the next people who will renovation! 😉

Mark and I signed and dated the wall behind the Nickel Board. It happened to be our Anniversary, which we indicated in the signature. I wonder when that will be found? lol

Looks beautiful - love the colors. Never heard of the beer bottles in the walls, and I’ve lived in New England my whole life. You might find someone that wants to collect those older ones (you never know). I’ve heard of used bottles as insulation, but those are usually stacked on top of each other (circular bottoms facing out). PS I also prefer curtains to shower doors! Enjoy!

I appreciate that you shared your bathroom remodel. We will be doing a complete gut and remodel of our master bath sometime next year. I can honestly say I do not like our 'before'. Hello Carla, Love everything about your newly decorated bathroom, your husband Mark does magnificent work, as well as yourself. I just love what you did!! Our master bath is on the list for a remodel and the engineered stone shower surround looks amazing! It’s so funny, I had gone to the paint store and was looking at colors to do our vanity and Newburyport is one of the ones I really like!! Excellent job! You must be enjoying it so much!

For my face serum, I've been using Honey Lab 5-in-1 Vitamin C & Manuka Honey face serum, followed by the 5-in-1 Dry Skin Rescue Intense Moisture Lotion. Love the feel (not greasy) and the smell. Nice job you two! Best part is no grout. Definitely going to check this product out and I live in CT so that's convenient. What color did you paint the walls? Very pretty with the blue. I also have lots of lotions and potions but number one for me is Retin A and sunscreen. Thanks for sharing ❄️☃️❄️

Thank you Denise. I was so happy we were able to find a "locally" made product to use and could not be happier with it. I agree with you on Retin A and definitely the Sunscreen. The Sunscreen protects all of the hard work from our other lotions and potions for sure! The wall color is S/W Aged White. I just added it in the description box, thank you for the reminder.
