his accent is perfect, good structure and ideas link together, use a lot of difficult words.

Most English learners start to learn English with British accent at the begining( but someone who have chances to learn English with native speakers from other countries ), I am not exception.

For me, it doesn't matter what accent he speaks, since I have studied and communicating using English with people from around the world while I was studying master degree at Hawaii where there is a diverse civilians from around the world. His English is pretty good especially he is a second language learner. However, Hong Kong people can speak English as a much I think.

This guy is speaking in an Australian accent, without any doubt. I live here, I'm Australian. This guy either learnt from an Aussie teacher in HK or he studied here in Australia. As far as "more than one way to skin a cat" that is a classic Aussie expression.....lol

He is actually speaking in a vert strong Australian accent. Very possible he studied here in Australia at some point of his life. We Aussies can sound very proper and British in formal situations or laid back and have a slight American twang in more relaxed contexts. It's an interesting accent is Australian. But this guy definately learned from an Aussie teacher or studied here. I'd bet on it.

it's common for this generation in hk coz the last gen say our teachers they studied British English in the Eng Gov time, so when we were younger, we mostly influenced by British accent and learn words usually used by English-English. However, in our self-learning stage say in middle school, we learn English by watching American TV shows or TV series kind of stuff so we mostly have spoke in the tone of American at the same time using British words without knowing coz those were already rooted

When I grew up, I like American accent and am in pursue of that but it's hard to immitate. So I just try to speak English with American accent as much as I can. So that's why I speak English with many accents. It's too bad. hehe :) So I am sure that he doesn't mix up many accents on purpose. They just naturally comes to him

tbh there is a lot of intonation in his sentences that seems like its layered on top for no good reason. It seems like the idea was to add on more for the sake of adding more and unfortunately it distracts from communication. Im not sure what the context is, maybe hes pandering to the ideals of a contest rubric or something. The speech gives me an eerie uncanny valley feel as if it was written and directed by an AI mimicking english and then he performed it that way. Also some of the comments are on a whole different wavelength.
