When it comes to a theocracy, it's not an angry God that we fear, it's the leaders who claim they know His will that we fear. Keep in mind that Jesus' greatest enemies were the religious leaders of the time. Matthew 23.

There is no such thing as a non-theocratic nation. We actually live in a #henothiestic world where every nation has an appointed Celestial Prince (powers and principalities [a la Book of Daniel]) the lot of whom rebelled and are rebelling against the Most High's Messiah. They teach their citizens the blood lust of war, and cruelty is the point #HumanSacrificeHolocausts Ekklesia, the community of believers, preach the gospel to each Nation as a testimony; a remnant of Israel will answer the call (Paul Roman's) and a remnant of the Nations (James Acts 15). The Nations' Judgment Day Ps. 81, Matt 25:31-46, Obadiah 1:15

That was interesting, brother! God bless you. That is a different way at looking at the bible for sure; namely, the NT and what Jesus was born into. I don't believe there is one right way to look at the bible (from a historical pov or what have you; though I do believe context and spiritual discernment are a must), for each child of God will be taught by God in their own way and according to their ability to learn. Sharing personal testimony and that which God has made known to us, is the very essence of God's church on this planet. I have been shown many things by God, and one of those very precious things was His genuine humble character. How he was able to show this to me according to my limited and finite mind was a miracle. I cried for a week. The Word of God (Jesus) transcends all time and all things; and only HE knows how to teach us properly so we may grow as God's spiritual babes--unique and glorious; being pruned and guided by the Holy Spirit day by day, hour by hour, who is preparing us for our eternity with Jesus Christ our Lord and our God, our Savior and our Friend!

3-dimentionality is Platonic. That kind of geometric form can only make sense if timeless abstraction is the basis for thought. Same with numbers predicated in relation to form, or Platonic ideas i.e twoness. One is not a number, its holy unity of heaven and earth, as perfection ensouled through clear light. Two is begotten from the one as matter as the first feminine account of number by the ratio -- 1:2. The 2 begets 3 -- 2:3 and 4 stands for justice as the principle of harmony and perfection with the cosmic order, with principle referring to understanding of the beginning in reflection of intelligible thought. Reflection of what? The Father. I am the light of the world, the truth shall set you free... testimony of the one via self-identification of the logos with the father.

Classic example of Eastern influence. Produce a smoke of "scholarship" with little substance. Similar to Ravi. (I'm not talking about NT Wright. I'm talking about the above comment.)

My influences are Western. Martin Heidegger's account of the "History of Being" with fundamental ontology as presocratic phusis. 1:2:3:4 are the Pythagorean tetraktys that have been shown to complete quantum physics. Plato and Aristotle have the wrong ontological status for things.

The kingdom of God is at hand. So, what does that mean in terms of time? After all humans are constrained by time. God doesn’t have that problem to deal with.

N.T. Wright has proven to be a heretic. He says he rejects an angry God. He doesn’t believe in the substitutionary atonement and imputation of our sins upon Christ’s body, and Christ’s righteousness inputed upon true believers. He doesn’t believe that any Christian is justified until after he dies. He doesn’t believe that Paul’s discourse on justification and the gospel is an account of how people get saved. He’s publicly stated these things and has written them in his books. What is he still doing taking the pulpit of Churches!? “Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.” (Romans 16:17-18)
