Whenever I need a pick-me-up, I pour a glass of wine and find a Pat Conroy talk like this one. He was a mentor of mine, and constantly as an artist and storyteller, I remember his insistence that I did deeper. I miss him dearly. 💜

Just discovered this man, from following the line from Robert Duvall’s character in The Great Santini to learn of this mans contribution to the written word. I will be ordering that book and others and plan to share them with my Father. So unlike Duvall’s character though I know that he will find it enjoyable to read. This is why I love KZbin so much, the way it can open up my eyes to new people and experiences. Really enjoyed this mans talk, funny, engaging and memorable. Really wonderful.
