So a few fun facts about Mettaton EX: - During his essay, there are actually a LOT of unique answers you can write that will earn you ratings. "LEGS" is the highest scoring *intended* word (speed runners have found a combination of words that score slightly higher) that will net you +350. You can also write "TOBY" to which Mettaton will remark he has no idea what you're talking about but it sounds sexy for +300 - Toby is actually a really big fan of Touhou, which is what inspired the dodging phase during combat. It also really shines through with the yellow soul allowing you to shoot back - There's a few other ways to boost your audience rating. If you keep a lot of your old equipment for your armour slot and bring it into battle with you, you can keep changing your armour during battle and you'll earn points for changing your outfit. It's actually possible, because of this, to finish the battle BEFORE the essay. But because Toby never foresaw this happening, Mettaton's overworld sprite will still be missing it's limbs, despite the fact that finishing the fight before the essay causes them to remain attached On a side note, this is your first death of this entire run. If you die, it's very much worth it to not mash through dialogue. As you saw there, sometimes the dialogue can be unique

You manage to make really interesting commentary without being annoying or dense, you are just a natural at making viewers hooked. And without any need of unnecesary editing. You deserve so much more audience! (Mettaton would probably disagree though.)

0:32 "I thought he was dead" that's real funny cause all he did last time was exit stage left 😭 Mettaton EX is such a fun boss battle imo, once you figure out the basic rythm of it, you can anticipate what happens next and pick your ACT accordingly- in contrast, Undyne and Papyrus where more like battles of endurance by comparison

starting with a plot twist! alphys just wanted to feel better about herself and used you to obtain that, and everyone's favourite entertainmentbox to act like a danger! wait a second! he's no longer a entertainmentbox! he's HOT! yeah the ratings are like supposed to go up! the best answer for essay is LEGS that increases rating the most! yeah sparing does not increase ratings, obviously the crowd only wants action, drama and bloodshed! they're watching mettaton for a reason. well first death! you almost made it all the way through. i have to say though its not too bad, the game over dialogue needs to be read so a plot twist in one of the endings has shock value. yeah so the pose gives more points the less health you have, pose at like 1hp and the crowd goes wild! yeah so the first caller was napstablook, which mettaton wanted to call blooky before he hung up. they are infact also cousins. yeah napstablook has got connections that's for sure! its funny you mention that breaking the fourth wall at the end, flowey does actually call out potential viewers in one of the endings. we're all looking forward to you meeting everyone's favourite king fluffybuns next episode!
