There was just no need to mess with Karl in this season as the dynamic between him and Warwick was funny enough, so they made it more like a normal trip.

@@plo8450 True but I do believe that the reason Ricky doesn't fuck with Karl as much as the previous two series is that it indirectly messes with Warick. I think this is further proven later on in the series when they go to (SPOILER for people just watching) China and they have to climb all those stairs and I think from memory Warwick was in pain or something. Haven't watched the show in a while say watching through these is bring back memories.

I'm from Manchester myself and I love Karl but for me the moaning of life just didn't do anything for me.. he was too comfortable as he was choosing what he wanted to do. Still comes out with a few lines that are funny but he's at his best when Ricky is winding him up

Carl isn't ever being mean, and he treats everyone as his equal, regardless of any disabilities they have. People think he is being insulting, but he is acting like he would with anyone else. I think for a lot of the disabled people they run into, it is actually refreshing, instead of being treated like an object of pity.
