Triangles are more stable because their sides are less likely to break or something. A square's sides are alot more likely to break cuz not all sides are connected to each other directly if that makes sence. Plus triangles use less materiels so it's more cost effective. Seems school isn't that useless, now i know useless bridge trivia.
@anthsarin0704974 жыл бұрын
It's due to the fact the shape of the triangle distributes pressure away from a single point, meaning it's less likely to break under weight

11:22 By giving them simultaneous fatal seizures from pure horror at the geometrically-challenged abominations you are creating? Also, triangles with three sides and three joints are strong. Floppy, misshapen things with four sides and four corners that just happen to have been drawn in a triangle for their starting positions are... significantly less strong.

One of my greatest fears in life is driving across a bridge just as it decides to collapse, condemning me to a suffocating grave in the depths of the water. Every time that bridge collapsed, I saw myself. Screaming. Screaming to a God named Sophie. And she said... "F**k that guy". And then I wept.
