@@G3N3515DM It's impossible in this scoring system to be ahead/behind by anything but multiples of 175. There's no way to make a 25-point gap. The mistake wasn't from this episode, it (and others) came way earlier!

Wendy Bruce was a member of the 1992 Olympic women's gymnastics team, the first US women's team to medal in a fully-attended Olympics (they won the Silver during the 1984 games, which were boycotted by most of the Soviet Bloc countries). Incidentally, three members of that Barcelona team would go on to compete on the Magnificent Seven in Atlanta. Which ones were they? A superior scoring system would would be a cumulative point total for the entire season which should be implemented for season 4. With this method every single performance is critical due to the points on the line, which makes the overall show more exciting. Also you gotta figure out a way to bring back the trades, yes this season had a great ending but its the weakest season yet because there were no trades.

For the next season draft of draft picks they should each have 3-1sts 3-2nds and 3-3rds in the hat. Then draft by episode. If a person gets multiple of their picks selected then they get to choose which one they keep. Could help split up the runs of multiple first picks at the beginning of the season.

Using the crag scoring just makes it more difficult to calculate. As long as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are separated by the same number you might as well go 2 points for 1st, 1 for second and 0 for 3rd. You would get the same result but probably without the error in the current final score.

Next season you should get the number of points your kid wins each episode. That way a dominant first is worth more than a weak first.

I agree, every other scoring system is exactly the same if each place is separated by the same amount of points. Using the actual final scores would spice things up. It might even bring trades back into play.

The first ep of a season, random 1st, 2nd, 3rd pick. At end of episode, their total points is what each of you get to wager pick position next ep. At the end of each episode add your pick’s total points to your draft pool, start of each ep, wager however much you want to land the pick you want, go all in or hold some back that is your call. If your pick wins an episode you get a single point, the other two spots get zero; or if you win with a first draft get 5 points, 2nd draft pick gets 3 points for a win, 3rd place draft pick win gets 1 point idk. You can now do trades focused on draft position of the competitors in that episode, plus points/wager money going into next episode, could be interesting.

Wager/bid picks, start at cost of 100 points, you keep going until the other two pass, leaving the last highest bid win. Jim 100, JoeZack 200, Jake 300, Jim pass, JoeZack 400, Jake pass JoeZack get first pick; Jake second; Jim third. Deduct all wager points from running total.
