Amazing series and drone shots! I was in Sri Lanka in 2010, when it wasn't popular with tourists. I regret not going to more places. I love seeing Sri Lanka through your eyes.. the natural scenery is unbeatable and the people and food are the best! Can't wait to see you in South America!

I was the very last flight allowed into sri lanka as covid hit so only managed 7 days and 2 were in complete lockdown in a hotel, this has made me want to get back out and finish it ❤

December to April is the best time to visit south and central part of Sri Lanka, here are some recommendations for your Sri Lanka trip - Horton plains, temple of the tooth in kandy, kandy lake, Botanical Garden Kandy, Pinnawala elephant orphanage, Mādu river safari, Yala or Udawalawe national park, little adams peak, 9 arches bridge, ravana fall, Nuwara eliya, Castlereigh reservoir, sigiriya, pidurangala rock, traditional village tour in sigiriya including lake tour, dambulla cave temple, Gartmore falls, Bomburu waterfall, upper diyaluma falls, st.Claire fall, pahanthudawa falls, rathna falls, ramboda falls, gallefort, coconut tree hill mirissa, unawatuna beach, japanese peace pagoda, jungle beach, hiriketiya beach, dalawella beach, thalpe beach, Nuwara eliya to ella train ride, knuckles mountain range, pedro tea factory visit, Ambuluwawa tower, sinharaja rain forest, ancient ruins and temples in Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura, meemure, white water rafting in Kithulgala, gangaramaya temple in colombo, etc.

Arugam bay,elephant rock in arugam bay, kumana national park, Pasikuda beach, Trincomalee, Marble beach, Pigeon island, dutch bay beach (great place for Scuba diving too), Uppuweli beach, Minneriya national park, Nilaveli beach, etc... What a fine expedition! I love the Tuk Tuk. I'm looking forward to SA. I spent about 9 months wandering in part of South America in the 70s. Roads were rough. Busses and trains were my long-distance rides. I was often surprised at how large and varied the continent was.

There is an unic beach in sri lanka called Ussangoda, believed meteorite rock beach, if have time visit and there are natural warm water wells nearby too
