Thank you for speaking so nicely of this country! I spend a lot of time in Tampere 10 years ago. Nice place, especially around the area with old factory buildings.

Hello Ma'am, namaste-ji! Nice to get a foreigner's gracious perspective about Tampere where I was born. Actually I've lived at least half my life abroad, including 7 years in India. I miss the great variety of Indian and Mughal cuisine, even chole bhature (- too cheap and simple for Indian restaurants to offer here). Cheers!

Namasteyji 💐. I am glad to hear about your connection with India. I am working on my new vlog channel on KZbin about easy preparations of Indian food in English language so the knowledge crosses many boundaries. I hope that helps many people who miss Indian food outside India cook in no time. The channel will be up and running in a few months. 🙏🙏 stay connected with me.

I hope you'll learn to see new snow as a sign to take out your skis and to make track to enjoy nature and not as a reason to hide under your blankets. It's time to become active and outgoing. Skiing is an activity where you can meet others and get practice in using Finnish. If you're not familiar with skiing, even better. Nothing attracts people more to interact with you than trying to learn skiing and looking funny. It's a good thing. Everyone will struggle at first. Everyone understands and has been at that position. Not everyone can teach in a very useful way, but does it matter, if it is fun and a good opportunity for language practice and avoiding depression, which can be the result of hiding under blankets.

Yes, I tried skiing ⛷️ last year and am looking forward to this year, too. First snow for me brings immense joy and gratitude in my heart. Not depression at all. And I love to spend hours in my rug, and that's because I love to read or bing watch. Different personality types, I think. Everyone has so much to enjoy in snow if you look at it.

@@SunitaKumar1206 There is that biological effect of the amount of light you get daily, which isn't tied to personality. I wanted to emphasize the importance of staying active and being outdoors to keep you body healthy during the darker winter season. So many, especially foreigners, tell about the difficulties of the darker winter season. It's a real challenge. How you spend your winter days makes a big difference. Just taking vitamin D isn't the total solution.
