I remember years ago talking to the great Bobby Osborne backstage at MOA and I asked him if he ever got tired of singing Rocky Top and what he said always stuck with me. “Son, that song fixed it to where I never worried about where my next meal was coming from. I sing it everyday till the day I die.” I’m glad Dan feels the same way about Constant Sorrow cause I’ll never get tired of hearing it.

Thank you, Dan. You did a great job on my Daddy's version of this old English ballad. It has been life changing for me & my family.

I'll always remember Dan's story about describing the movie with his song to his wife (whether it's actually true or not, I'm not sure). Dan tells that he was describing to his wife that George Clooney would be syncing to Dan's voice, and her response was, "that's my dream!" 🤣

YOU are what got me, this NYC suburbs girl now living in Nashville Actually INTO Loving Bluegrass! I heard your ‘One More Time Before You Go’ tribute song on a radio I ALWAYS have on in my laundry room(where I spend half my life I think lol) and set to 90.3 WPLN on, hmmm I’m thinkin’ Bluegrass Breakdown?…..Anyways….I literally froze in place listening to it……I thought naively at first it might be about a Grandfather or Father, but I guess that’s what such a mentor/student relationship can feel like can’t it 🥹 Before I realized it….I was looking forward to that show every week and your album that had just come out…..and just friggin’ Googling and reading and listening to the heck out of Bluegrass……and that’s a LOT for this normally a super Metalhead chick!! Horns UP, WAY UP to you LMAO😂🤘😍🤘💕

Good to see you're doing well. Not sure my name will show up but you'll know who this is if you think about Wed nights playing cards in my basement and the golf trip to Vegas with no golf. Hope you still get to play some.
