I recently found this great catholic artist and it is simply refreshing... Now we can really bang and nod our heads to scripture and love to God and His (our) Mother!

Is he catholic like the artist ? He tags Christianity on his TikTok’s ?
@bryangaritaherrera972 күн бұрын
@LaufeyXEnhypenXfan Anybody who follows Christ is a christian, thus the question is : who follows Mary? I say the catholic church... Checking out Hell's Enemy lyrics you find many references to Mary...

My first listen to Behold the Lamb of God was invigorating! When I heard the lyrics, I was like, noooo, way! Is this blasphemous? Can't be? My discernment has lost the taste of the secular death/black/core metal. Hearing Hell's Enemy was a game changer. THANK YOU! GLORY TO GOD!

To answer your question : anyone can look for confession, but the priest can't grant God's forgiveness unless they have done first communion, which is the sacrament that follows baptism... The case of an emergency is valid though!

Question. As a Protestant, I do believe Jesus was literal when he spoke about his body and blood. Now when I receive communion at my Church, we eat a tiny saltine cracker and grape juice. Is Jesus in that? At least according to Catholicism?

@@SamLunser That is a great question. The short answer is no, Jesus is not present in the cracker and juice. I'll do my best to offer a simple explanation. If we read the context of John 6 where Jesus speaks of His flesh and blood we see some clues. 1st there is sacrificial language used, so we know that his flesh and blood exist within a sacrificial context. 2. Jesus was Jewish and his audience was mostly as well. So Jesus will be speaking with language and customs that his audience would know intimately. 3. One of those customs was blood sacrifice. It was only the priests of the temple that could perform blood sacrifice for the people. So when Jesus is at the last supper and speaks of sacrifice and his blood the audience would know Jesus is a priest since only they had authority to perform such a sacrifice. As such when Jesus tells the disciples to do the same He's effectively saying that they are priests as well. That's what the audience would understand as well. 4. If you put those pieces together, and there's plenty more context, it would logically conclude that in order for that bread/wine, body/blood sacrifice to take place you would need a priest to perform it. 5. Priests are ordained by the laying on of hands. If you were to go back in time you would find an unbroken line of laying on of hands from the priests of today going all the way back to the apostles. Conclusion: In order for the bread and wine to be the body and blood of Christ you would need a priest with apostolic authority to perform a valid Eucharistic sacrifice. Everything else is literally symbolic which is the traditional protestant perspective and theology. However if you feel convicted of Christ's true presence in the bread and wine, you owe to yourself and your conviction to further research and invite the Holy Spirit in your search for Truth 🙏🥰 I hope this helps. It's not meant to be a comprehensive answer but a starting point. God bless brother ❤️☦️

@@CatholicPipes Thank you very very much I appreciate it. And I don't want to bother you too much, but I got one last question. According to the Catholic Church, am I going to hell? And so you know I am not some weird protestant. I actually do believe in a lot of Catholic traditions, some I'm still researching, but according to Catholicism would I be going to hell since I'm not an official Catholic? Thank you for your time.

@@SamLunser Who goes up and who goes down is God's business 😊 But if you want the surest chance then the Catholic Church is you're best option. Through the sacraments of the Church instituted by Christ the grace needed to live an extraordinary life are made present to you.
