Thank you for the great content. I am wondering what are math pre requirements in order to follow the books? Thanks.

The books are aimed at University students starting out in their first year of an engineering, mathematics, or computer science course. So the equivalent of end of high school math is a sort of prerequisite. I think the hardest subject to get your head around is probably complex numbers. I have tried to explain them at a very basic level in the first book and there are a number of videos on my channel that can help too. I recommend the following playlists from my channel that can amplify what is in the books: kzbin.info/aero/PLWMUMyAolbNtTqZcX88JT6o-V0AF1LXMc, kzbin.info/aero/PLWMUMyAolbNsjohK9PJBuYP7lpcz5SBtZ.

Really glad you are enjoying the videos. They are a labour of love. Not planning on stopping any time soon but there will be breaks as they take time to produce.

Mark, your videos are top tier sir. Many channels on KZbin are fantastic but the clarity and practicality of your videos are 1st rate on all dimensions. Thank you for your amazing work. I just purchased your books.

Thank you for your kind words. I hope the books help you. This is a labour of love. I found this topic SO hard to understand when I was a student. Now I have found my own way to understand it, I want to explain it to others in the way I wish it had been explained to me.

It is absolutely my pleasure. This is a labor of love and exorcises my demons about never being able to understand this stuff when I was a student.

Mate you are an absolute inspiration! I wish your videos were around 14 years ago when I was doing my PhD. You explain things so simply in minutes that took me months to understand! Please don't stop your wonderful work

Fourier Transforms are one of the most beautifull and usefull tools of math, but, very tricky to understand. Doing some videos of control theory, stability, how to apply eingenvectors and eigenvalues would be nice too!

Hey Mark. Just ordered the Fourier transform book as I was so impressed with the 1st part of Fourier series book. Your approach of explaining this complex topic is absolutely brilliant..

Wow Amazing. Thanks. The Fourier Transform confused the hell out of me at university. I knew what it did, but the analytical approach of trying to understand how it worked just didn't do it for me. It wasn't until years later when I was actually forced to work with the Fourier Transform in a practical application that I began to understand how it worked. The books are basically my journey of discovery. I am so glad that my approach helps others too.
