Loop continuously interacting with the party that doesn't recognize him is quite painful just to think about. But the party gaining impressions about Loop and starting to remember past loops of Loop, never identifying Loop's backstory yet becoming familiar with them as a new character? Bound to be a lot of complicated feeling from that.

I don’t know if this has been floating around, because I can never have a creative idea. An AU where everyone but Siffrin remembers the loops. Like, if Siffrin dies, or is destroyed emotionally, it still loops, but Siffrin doesn’t remember it. Mirabell, Isabue, Odile, Bonnie, and Loop go back, and they have to solve the mystery. Maybe they get closer over the loops, unintentionally alienating Siffrin. Maybe they try to force Siffrin to learn a super powerful attack, or try to, forcefully loop back.

I'd probably call it 'The Journal AU' myself (I'm lame with names honestly XD) but ah man. Feeling really terrible for Loop in this one. SPOILER WARNINGS FOR ALL ACTS IN DISCUSSION TALK BELOW . . . . . Like, how many loops did it take the exhausted Loop to actually reach out to the party, especially seeing their 'role' of Siffrin had been 'so easily replaced'? (probably not too many since they're kind and would want to help but unlike canon, the party don't remember so what would even be the point?) Does Loop go with them into the House? (If so, lots of area trauma for Loop but hey, faster discovery and the party might get residual feelings of trust/care towards them? But if not then progression is going to be REALLY slow and Loop is more alone and isolated than ever. ...I suppose they do have the Call Loop craft to teach them but like, the party can't SEE Loop not having a great time so...

I love your thoughts on this AU! I will probably end up calling it the Journal AU. As for "how long does it take Loop to tell them", my headcanon is that at first, Loop doesn't realize Siffrin doesn't remember, so they do the whole "hi im a voice in your head come to the favor tree!" thing, but since Siffrin doesn't remember the whole "dying" thing, they assume it's a trick from the King, so they bring the family with them to see what's going on. Loop sees them and is like "what is going on" and eventually they all figure out what is happening. this whole time Odile has been writing it down in her journal because that's just what she does, and Loop is like "ok we can work with this" and explains that they keep their equipment when they loop

Also, Loop sometimes comes into the House with the rest of the party, but most of the time they stay at the Favor Tree because they're EXHAUSTED. as for the "why did the universe grant their wish that way" I don't know, because i literally just had a dream about this AU and decided to make it a thing, but I'll think about it a little more and probably make more stuff about this AU

Now i want to write up a summary of how i think each act would go... Heres my idea for what act 1 could look like Act 1; We actually start with Odile, siffrin pops in and says hello and to go to the clocktower before leaving, You can then talk to everyone before leaving for the house. Things go as normal until you reach the trap, in which Siffrin, and Siffrin alone, gets crushed. Everone freaks out, Odile notes it down in her journal before the party continues. Being stopped by something else im not sure. Then time loops back. This time we start as Siffrin. Siffrin feels a vague pain in their chest, and is confused. They eventually get up and go to mirabelle, the events play out as normal act 1 starts for the most part until you reach the trap room again. This time, Odile presses the switch to the trap, surpring everyone. She notes how she had a weird feeling and her notebook had unfamiliar notes in it that she shouldnt know about. The party then continues through the house, weary, before being stopped yet again. This time, you get a choice for who to wake up as between Odile or Siffrin. Whoever you chose goes to check out the favor tree, and you get different dialogue depending on who you chose. Loop then explain that you get to choose who keeps the journal when they wake up, etc, tutorial stuff!! I'm not sure how the redt would play out but yeah!

The journal idea is neat SPOILERS FOR ACT6 SECRET/TWOHATS Loop mention they wanted to be the one instead of Siffrin, and the dream seems to play off that. Title could be something along the lines of Loop’s wish before they became loop and the universe gifted them the journal instead of making them Loop OR if siffrin is there, Loop gifts them the journal before the rock otherwise the party would infinitely loop going through the house dying at the rock

a lot of isat aus follow the same formula as “in stars and time” does (as in; “in X and Y”), so you could do something like that. i dont really have any ideas for that right now, tho. *!!! start again: a prologue spoilers !!!* but! since its heavily loop-centric, it would also make sense to name it after sasasaap. something as simple as “start over start over start over” because they _are_ starting over every time, they have to tell everyone everythint over and over again. just a thought tho!
