Wow! I genuinely have no words! The wisdom, the love and the honesty! And most of all, the focus on looking more like Christ in the reality of the pain in this world created by OUT SIN. Thank you for the prayer or “LORD, have mercy on us sinners”
@allrise30569 ай бұрын
The earthquake that rocked India this morning. Our sin? Just stop. You’re defending a debased “god” if you’re buying into the particular myth of the Bible, which you have because of the Roman Catholic Church. I am a former Roman Catholic Priest, faithfully served. To dismiss the insights of the late, great and sorely-missed Christopher Hitchens and the historical reasons for his gathering of refutations of this particular brand of Theism is to choose delusion by choice. To not see this is why we are here now facing our NEXT existential threat, MAN-MADE “religions”. As a seminarian we had an excellent Palestinian Christian Tour Guide.
@goodnews55236 ай бұрын
But you were a Catholic, never a christian. The day you seek the true Christ, true Word of the living God, you will wish He found you in your youth. True Christianity is not religion, its Life. He is far more above all religions and systems.

The term nakba is used incorrectly here by the speaker who is just reciting the same old narrative : I will explain : in 1948, if you read the Arabic press of the day, the term nakba was used by journalists to refer to the Arab FAILURE to destroy Israel. Later, the term became associated with "the plight of the Palestinians".

Please Count me in as a Believer in the Body of Christ. This means that I look to my Creator God for judgement and justice to descend upon this earth. God knows who, what, where, when, why and how, for each and every thought, incident and evil, perpetrated. God alone can and will, punish the wrong done, and reward the right done. I was floored when I read Rev.2:9 and 3:9 (kjv). I had never heard any preaching on these verses and who was implicated. They assure me that God is actively watching what is happening on earth, and will act in His own Divine time to bring justice and judgement. Lisa thanks for your Christ-like words in these trying times. I have been bombarding Heaven with prayer for the supernatural intervention that only Eternal God can bring. We are no longer capable of determining who is right or wrong - only God knows that. Our job is to pray for Gods Divine will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven - Matt 6:10

Jesus stood against the religious leaders who were oppressing and taking advantage of people but he didn’t come with the purpose of standing against the evils of Rome…that material fight of the time wasn’t as important as eternal spiritual welfare. Reconciliation is great but we can’t have salvation without repentance. “Grace and truth” ❤

So whats yur take on palestenian Christians?
@mirjahmlinen26986 ай бұрын
She said it: Palestinian (liberation) theology has gone its own way. And it is hard or impossible for messianic jews to adopt. I find the same. Rev. Isaac Munther deliberately insults many sincere christians of being complicit with war and deaths in Gaza. He has become more of a politician than a pastor. He also endorses Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the ICJ. He has taken sides so that it breaks christianity. Although he does not advocate terrorism, he tries to explain it. But South Africa openly advocates Hamas and its methods. I see this discrepancy something I cannot overcome. It is purely disgusting. What Hamas did on Oct. 7, is definitely not resistance.
@patricechappell85793 ай бұрын
You mean the Christianity that advocates for genocide? They are not peacemakers. Munther is watching innocent children and family die, over 32,000 still counting. He’s calling for justice. If that’s political so be it.

Lets not forget that, if the land was under Arab rule instead of Jewish rule, then it wouldn't be any better than what the Jewish democratic state is right now... for example, it would be an Islamic state where everyone who is not a Muslim, will be a dhimmi or second class citizen as codified in law by shariah, Arabic would be the official language and islam the state religion, and it's festival's would be the official holidays. There would be no recognition for any other languages, religions or their festivals under an Arab ethno linguistic religious ridership either.
@goodnews55236 ай бұрын
You are 100 percent correct, but God knows His own. He was still going to reach them, no matter what. There is nothing impossible with God. Between the two extremes, Judaism and Islam, lies Christianity, which can bring the two together, only if they can see it, without the Lord Jesus Christ, life is meaningless and hopeless. Love conquers all, it covers the magnitude of sin.

First off was Theodor Herzl an atheist? Even if he wasn't it still is a Christian view to act ahead of the Lord Himself when Christianity no it's waiting on Him to relieve the world of the Devil deception - Matthew 4:8,9; John 14:30; 1John 2:15-17. So to go ahead with man plan is a servant out of character for this political plan of Theodor Herzl hasn't come to fruitation an brought peace to a city that means just that - Jerusalem a city of peace yet these jewish people have wrought confusion and trampled over the land of Jerusalem - Luke 21:(24).

Just pointing out a Biblical Fact. Jews are from Judah, and Hebrews are from Iber/ a man. They were Iberu/ Hebrew. So Isreal is not the Hebrew/ Isreal-ites of Ancient Days. Jews in Isreal are called Irealis, because they live in the State they Named "Isreal" Isrealites were NOT called Israelis... And Israelis are NOT Isrealites. Different People It says also in the 'Jewish Encyclopedia' "Modern Jewry is Edom"

I appreciate her compassionate view of people. However, she kind of justified the event of October 7 as being a reaction to the conditions in Gaza. Any fair minded person would reject those atrocities committed by Hamas and other Palestinian civilians on that day, and would not consider them to be justified at all.
@darrenmcharg77319 ай бұрын
with respect, see 39:54 "What happened on October 7th was not justifiable by anybody's standard...we denounce it we deplore it...there's no way that it can be seen as justifiable"

I would like to see you interview someone now with the opposite view point, who is pro Zionism, and who support Israel in this war. I still haven't heard you say what you think a country should do that gets brutally assaulted, such as Israel was on October 7th. Also, how can Israel defend herself with absolutely no civilian casualties? How many German civilian casualties were there during World War II? It seems easy to criticize Israel, but where are your solutions?
@leighannf.47309 ай бұрын
@@user-yz7gv8nm4h The problem with this is accepting the numbers from *Hamas* as if that terrorist organization is a morally equivalent power to the state of Israel. The evidence on the Palestinian side is quite lacking, even as they insist that Israel show videos of photos of every single murder and corpse before they can be believed. Complete double standard.
@41093AnthonyB9 ай бұрын
@@user-yz7gv8nm4h I must be missing something here: Hamas actually TARGETED civilians. They murdered men, women, and children on October 7th. Have you seen THEIR OWN videos of what they did? Israel is not targeting civilians. They in fact are even warning them to leave. To defend the ruthless and barbaric actions of Hamas is outrageous. For ANY reason.
@hamish0018 ай бұрын
How does this current situation in any way resemble the warfare in ww2?
@edres75638 ай бұрын
@hamish001, I think it does, when you consider that 2 million Germans died in the allied bombardment to destroy the Nazi regime. War is a terrible and brutal thing. And there is no way to win a war without civilian casualties, once a war begins. All the more reason, why no one who has an ounce of decency or humanity, should start a war on purpose by attacking another nation. Anyone who does start a War, knowing full well, the horrific consequences that will ensue for its own citizens civilians, is truly evil and can no longer claim the moral high ground by crying about the casualties, especially when they have the cowardly immorality to hide behind women and children and use civilians as human shields.
