This is a really good comparison! People like Eva and Vito Iacopelli have taught us that the crust of the pizza is “The Thing” and tte toppings are next. In Canada and the US it’s so often about the toppings! I sincerely hope someone from the frozen pizza makers was listening. As ever it’s a treat!

The reason it's number one is because Walmart pushes Red Baron hard. By your same logic Folgers is great coffee because it's the top seller in the US (and Walmart). Folgers does in fact, buy the lowest grade coffee beans. I, myself, find Red Baron pretty nasty, unless of course you enjoy the cheap low fat part skim, no taste mozzarella over whole milk cheese, and if you like chicken mixed with pork and labeled pepperoni and italian sausage, then Red Barron it the pizza for you (the chicken they mix into what they call sausage has some skin mixed with it to keep the cost down and the profitability up). There really are no good frozen pizzas because 1. They're made with cheap ingredients. 2. The crusts are mass produced, no time is allowed for the dough to develop, and way too much yeast is used to cut down on rise time (anyone from Italy will notice that one immediately). 3. While the sauce and meat toppings can withstand freezing without a breakdown in texture or consistency because of high moisture content, crust on the other hand, doesn't fare so well in that environment.

Oh Eva, I love your faces and comments! I feel like I am looking in a mirror when I watch you. (Cause I do the same😂)Being from Germany, grew up with Italian friends (from Cariati/Calabria)and Pizzerias. Pizza from a brick oven. No frozen pizza for me. I prefer to make my own. If you buy pizza at a restaurant, it's like 30, 40 bucks. Do you know HOW MANY pizzas I can make at home for that? A year's worth😂😂 People, if you are in Albuquerque, go to Dion's, buy the dough and make your own! Oh man, Domino's is by far theee worst... My first year here in America I had food from a German restaurant. It was so bad. I wouldn't have fed that to my dog... had I had one at the time😁 I also make my own marmelade because everything has waaaay too much sugar in EVERYTHING. Keep the videos coming. You and Harper are doing a great job!❤❤❤

The best way to cook cheap frozen pizzas, (or just American frozen pizzas in general), is to blast them at the maximum temperature of your oven until the bottom is crispy so that any excess water that would make it soggy/oil, etc. according to the directions is driven out. Also, putting extra cheese and toppings is a good bonus if the factory was stingy in that batch.

Greetings from Salerno! We're here house hunting! Today was my second day in a row eating pizza! Tonight's choice was pizza alla Siciliana. After our passeggiata along il centro storico and the lungo mare it was time for dinner (7 pm). When we arrived the restaurant was empty and the owner said the oven wouldn't be hot enough for another 30 min. The wait was worth it! The crust perfetto! The melanzana mozzarella combination was so rich and tasty. (5 Euros for artisanal pizza!) At home in the States, we skip the frozen section and get the Aldi's brand plain cheese pizza at the front of the store in the refridgerator case. Our hack is to add our own toppings like mushrooms, black olives, a little red onion. The crust is never the greatest but there's just enough cheese and using our own toppings make it sort of homemade.

So, this makes me think of the pizza place feud in my area. There are two restaurants known for their pizza that both have cult followings within view of each other. The larger chain has a huge following, but in my opinion it's the worse pizza. The feud started a couple towns away and my town was just the lucky one that got both right next to each other.

Better for your health, better for the climate, reduces food waste in the supermarket.

I VERY much enjoyed it, thank you! Genuine, and cheerful😌😌❤ By the way, I don't know if you can get it over there but Pizza Express which started over here in the UK - their first restaurant was in Soho in 1965. It quickly became super popular with fashionable youngsters in a country that was only really just escaping the grim post-War years. The fact they continued to grow despite the advent of dozens of competitors since those early days, says something in itself and for my money, their bubbly sourdough crust comes pretty near to the real thing! Thanks for the clip and looking forward to the next one!😎

I tasted frozen pizza in Italia once and it was incredible buono! Tasted nearly like a fresh one! Never tasted like that in a frozen pizza again! 🤯 Now there is a new Brand from Italia called Lentini da Torino and it's available in Germany as well! ❤️

@@mondasca2740 Hi there! In Germany I found it in a big Edeka store, maybe also in Real or Kaufland... I saw it on Galileo, but it's been a while since than maybe you'll find more informations on Google!

Omg this is genius. That was definitely a surprise ending. I will be adding Eva’s homemade frozen pizza recipe to my repetoire now.
