Just grabbed them today on release and the definitely fit better than the the Bred reimagined in my opinion. They fit looser for sure. The breds had a much tighter fit. Even the metallic gold/sail 4s in woman’s felt tight. These fit true to size. The one thing I’d say is the “off white” upper isn’t off white. It looks more like a light gray. Overall I do like the show though. Looking forward to freakin these!!!

I know it's 'only' an insole but insoles make a huge difference in the overall comfort of any shoes, besides that I really like these Military Blues and hope to get on release day here in Oz. Wing lace strap sits noticeably higher (heel counter has more space) which in turn less side netting on quarter panel main difference to '89 OG

i was 15 in 1989 and i can tell you no one wore their Jordan 4s with the tongue flipped to show the “Air Jordan” tag. idk how the past few years people have been saying that. If you try to flip it, it won’t stay in place. Only way it flipped looking right is the Union 4s which is sewn in place. Have you tried wearing the tongue flipped over 😂

Yo thats good context cause I wasn't around for that, but even Nike.com lists the reason it’s upside down is that people were doing this? There’s also people on forums that said they did see people doing this as a kid and images online showing this is possible. I was not around in ‘89 so I’ll definitely take others’ word on it

They definitely have, but again I’ve seen conflicting anecdotes on this, but happy to be wrong . I’m definitely ignorant to what happened in 1989

I would rate this above the bred reimagined in terms of visual.

Looked at a pair in hand, and I wish the upper was a true white. The off-color isn't really doing it for me. I didn't go for this colorway back in '89, so I can't say if they're supposed to be an off color or not. There is no way these are on the same level as the reimagined bred 4s. I'll cop a pair if I hit on any raffles, but I'm not gonna be hitting any of the stores during the release.

Great shoe, great review but since I got the breds recently and the sb 4s in blue cw is already in talks for next year I will skip this one. I need my gum outsole 😅

I’m from that era where 4’s first came out. And I never seen anyone wear their shoes with the tongue flipped.

Yeah I wasn’t around so I can only trust what others say. Nike.com states that as a reason and there’s people on forums saying people did do this. I got no idea lol 🤷🏻‍♂️

The looks, materials, and comfortability, is garbage compared to my Reimagined Bred 4’s. At least the Bred 4’s get polyurethane insoles instead of that, “dreamcell” junk insoles the Military Blue 4’s get. Reimagined Breds are still SOTY IMO.

At this point I don’t know why they don’t just give us polyurethane insoles for all Jordan’s. It can’t be that expensive for them
