An Overview/Guide to Sentinels

I use diriga without assault mode and arc coil works, please remember that the sentinel uses a priority system in deciding what to do, it works opposite to elements, the first mod (up left slot) has priority and loses priority until the last (down right slot) attack mods should always be last because they will overwrite the use of skills if an enemy is in attacking range.

That's how elements work though? Inherit elements are counted as the '9th' slot however

I totally forgot about the assault mode placement being important, though in my defense it was a rough day.

@@nicktheninja3166i'm talking about fusing order not status, because fusing order uses the same logic, the element to fuse with another will priorityze the next element with the greatest priority, if you want an element to ne left alone put it in the last slot, there's also a hyerarchy of element types when fusing but that never was a problem for me.

Best way to build sentinels is Duplex Bond with corrosive/cold/radiation/build. The crowd control is beyond amazing. It’s like having 3 Octavia resonators spamming cold procs that slow enemies to a crawl. Source: Level 9999 Disruption with Mirage and a gas build Fulmin Prime (rivenless). Reinforced bond is terrific for keeping your sentinel alive with shield gating. The mod that gives elemental damage on eximus kill mixes with both abilities and your weapon, each kill has its own stack. Sentinels can actually kill level cap enemies with armour stripping and a bit of help. If you wanna chill invisible from your pet use Khora. Her whip doesn’t break the cloak

If I remember correctly, companion precepts, more specifically Arc Coil can proc archon stretch, I haven't tried it out myself but I remember hearing several people say it works. Also, reminder that Djinn is the only companion with a dedicated weapon to support it, though idk if anyone has tried some Gazal Machete with bond mods and melee arcanes. The use for plants is farming silver grove specters, pre mod drop nerf, I used to farm Growing Power all the time, it was my plat farm back in the day.

I totally forgot about gazal machete, I'll have to give it a look. Arc coil does in fact proc archon stretch, I wish I had remembered to mention it in the video.

Scanning plants are for the apotcrapha to get mods from hidden grove. I put it on when hunting litches/sisters. It just so happens that those visit the planets with plants. Growing power, sells for a lot, which i get, no one wants to do that tedious stuff. Brief resbite and x amp (mostly pistol) are prettu chill to sell as well. I just passively grab plants while killing litches and occasionally visit the hidden grove when i have a mod srop booster going when on earth for my litch.

Hmm, I need to build shade... Abilities don't break stealth. So that's mesa, gyre, Dante, excalibur, voruna, *taking a breath cos the list is so long*, khora, gara, baruuk, yareli and atlas that can all stay invisible with ghost while nothing changes. These are the ones I could think of.

It's a very underrated way of staying alive. Most people know that invis is pretty much the best survivability in the game, yet nobody uses shade, it's actually kinda baffling.

I do like the mass status spread via dirga and hek hound though. Wait I lie I like charm. Not the Smeeta kavat, we all know its actual name :p Yeah I'll be building shade when I can.

i think mesa would break stealth since peacemakers are firing a secondary, dunno tho haven't tested

I came back to watch the rest of this. You are sleeping on fired up, while not a auto exclude, it is free fire priming not taking a mod on your weapon (also I don't think it combines). Coolant leak however doesn't do cold procs ;-;

I suppose it could sort of work, the main problem is that it counts as an ability, meaning it will cause your sentinel to use it over something else.

22:41 I think that mod helps you activate melee influence, so it has utility

Does it still do that? Because I know when influence first came out you could proc electric from any source for it, but they changed it to only work from electric on the melee. The exception being your operator with the electric arcane from little duck.

Not a fan of the information given in this video tbh, slept on certain good sentinels and mods like Nautilus with Cordon and Botanist which helps a ton in farming Growing Power
