I can relate to this story. I lost my cousin in a drink driving accident. The person that killed my cousin did not receive much jail time. I have worked on forgiving the person because hating them is not going to bring my cousin back. Thank you for posting this video.

If you're referring to the comment of the two people being connected through a situation... I got news for you, yes this is all an act, but it can happen. I found out two of my students (from different places), one parent knew my sister in high school and another's dad knew my grandpa from a different state. I also recently found out a co-worker's house is next to another co-worker's mother-in-law from the same school we work. So, it is a small world after all. 😁

I was a Correctional Officer for many years and I had an inmate that had killed 2 people while driving drunk.I have never met another human being who was filled with more regret, sadness and just a soulful sorrow than this young man. I hope at some point in this man's life that he is able to find some kind of peace and I know that he would be able to if he turned to God, but his kind of pain is what truly brings about true rehabilitation. I honestly don't believe this young man will ever touch a drop of alcohol ever again in his life. I just hope he is still alive and still seeking his peace in life. I grieve for the 2 lives that he took because of his foolish reckless behavior. This never should have happened in the first place, but if there's any solace in this situation at all, it would be that his life was changed in that instant and his pain and regret hung on him and was as palpable as his clothing was. I grieved for all 3 of them in truth and I did my best to help him to come back from that tragedy but it was beyond my ability to make happen.
