@@JustDaNorm ... I could tell. You'd make a great public teacher if you ever decide to change careers. Your explanations are easy to follow. You don't make them complicated. Thanks again for realizing not everyone is computer savvy. DAWS can be very intimidating.

Call me stupid, but in the step sequencer I don't see cymbals....Bass drum is C3, snare E3, there are open and closed hihats but no crash and ride cymbals.....How can I add them?

You have to add additional pitches. Crash is normally C#5 and ride may be E5 or F5z. Depends on what type of drum kit you are using.

Alright, thanks! I was doing it wrong. I was just adding rows, but these were the same ones that were already there. Didn't realize that I had to scroll down or up the numbers.
