Waheyyy enjoy a very unexciting gap year day in the life trapped in my house! 😂 In order to do all the exciting things that can come with having a YT Channel, you must do the less exciting admin tasks in the background! Much of my gap year is spent editing, planning travels, prepping things and doing general learning. From attempting to file my tax returns (because when you make money online, you're technically self-employed, which is MAD!), to starting GoT, I hope you enjoy 😌✨

Hi Jade, i love your videos! I do feel though that you're gap year is vastly different from others and my own. I feel like people who watch what you're doing on you're gap year may be disappointed when they come to their own as yours in my opinion is a very unrealistic view on what a gap year for a non-youtube is like. I literally had to work for months and months to do one big trip but it seems you are doing so much travel!! If you have the money sure go ahead (i'm loving the videos!!!) but I think perhaps you could make a video explaining that gap years aren't usually as jam packed as yours??

For your average person considering a gap year looking on Jade’s instagram or channel it doesn’t suggest “that’s she’s from a privileged position”. I was not intending on being hurtful I just wanted her to be aware that it sends a message about gap years that aren’t wholly truthful :)

I don’t know if a gap year is right for me or not. I’ve been on this constant study hamster wheel for a looong time (about to start sixth form) and I wanted to do something different. Honestly I think that a gap year would be good to stop you from feeling burnout. I think that of you look now and find good programs and set up a good travel schedule and the like before you take the gap year I think that it would be good so that you don't suffer from burnout while in college ( Would it be college for you?) But those are just my thoughts!
