I would easily become a cat lady, but not in this life. I am very allergic to them. But Otis is one beautifully marked cat. God. Truly works in wondrous ways. Gotta love it

Oh Constance, you're a softy like me. We have 3 dogs, with one being a senior. Our five grandkids came for a visit this summer, and we're able to make friends with a wild cat. Long story short, she's a member of the family and goes to the Vet soon for everything you mentioned. And I'm with you, the litter box is my least favorite chore, but I guess she's worth it.😊❤

Otis is a very striking kitty! I love his face and that tail is just so unique! Some of my most loving cats have been black and white, but I love them all. All of your animals are just adorable! Right now I have a feral tuxedo barn cat who is taming down almost enough that I can take him and get him all vetted and fixed without doing it as a feral and having to have his ear cut back. I know that's kind of a necessary thing for city cat colonies, but this boy will be a pet even if he lives outside. My husband isn't such an animal lover as yours when it comes to inside cats unfortunately.

This is SO weird! Wild or something. Just before Thanksgiving our oldest cat, Bixie, stopped eating (normally he's a pig) and began to stagger when he walked. I put him in a large kennel with all the 'things' a cat needs, with plans to get him to the vet the next day, but he destroyed that kennel and yowled at the top of his lungs the Entire time he was in there. He was miserable so we made the decision to let him out and he disappeared in the space of a couple hours. I searched and searched for him and nothing. We still don't know where he went, but we figure he went somewhere to die on his own terms. I was telling my hubby today that I wished I could find where he went so I would Know for sure and so I could give him a proper burial. Bixie looked Just like Otis. Black and white body with the "curtains" over his eyes. So wild.

I have Ottis’s. My make is Ike as in General Eisenhower and his sister is Mammie. They are 15 now and are the best kitties I have ever had in all my 75 years. Your Ottis is truly a keeper. Have Mr Smith teach him to fetch. Ike was born with the talent. Lol. He taught my husband to fetch. We used to joke about that all the time. He is a very smart little boy. And I’m sure Ottis is also. He looks like he knows things. And our little princess is the alpha. She is the one who starts all the fights. Lol

Constance, you have a BEAUTIFUL family and you did a great mitzvah helping the helpless kitty! He’s GORGEOUS!!!! G-d’s timing is always perfect in every way. My 15 1/2 year old rescue kitty looks exactly like Otis in the face but she’s a 4 colored calico. Her name is “Bithia” after Moses’ Egyptian mother. May HaShem Bless you for your kindness.

I have an”Otis” and his name is Mr. Gibbs! They could be twins except Gibbs is eleven years old. Just as sweet and loving and best friends with our dog Lucy, but she has since passed away. Miss Bean will have a friend for a long time.

About 2 years ago my granddaughter and I went to our human society to look at kittens for us to adopt and Summer landed on this little black and white kitten and the rest is history he's been with us and looks just like your Otis he is a spoiled rotten cat now and thinks we are his servants!! It's so funny to know that someone else doesn't like litter duty (me)..

cute kitty, my last cats died several years ago, and I said no more I'm 70 and had lots of cats and dogs in these 70 years and as much as I love them no more. Well, my oldest grandson's girlfriend was losing her home and couldn't take her cats with her, they asked me to take them, and I said no. Well of course I started feeling guilty so I took them it is a mother and daughter, I was only supposed to take them until she could find another home. Well, that was almost 3 years ago, and these cats are going nowhere.

long story short i was in the hospital for a bad infection for 8 months while i was there , my cat died. he was indoor/out cat and was only 9 . family thinks he died of lonliness cause i was gone. fast foreward to when i got home... i couldnt handle not having a pet... so my family found me another cat. he was in a hectic situation of 9 cats /dogs and kids and partying 24/7. he was a reck of nerves to say the least. i got him here with no one, but me. and i have had him a yr in aug. he stays upstairs by himself, only to come down to eat. scared of anyone that comes into the house. his name is odin. indoor cat only. found out hes a flame point himalyan / flame point rag doll. so medium haired. he has the whole house and toys galore. hes also 6 this jan. he was so thin there was literally no weight to him and bony. glad to say hes now pushing 12 pds;];];] so i get you constance... this will be cat # 3 for me in my life. and im 60 yrs old. thank you and hubbs for saving him ;];];]

Our Ava sounds a lot like Odin. She is incredibly shy and scared of just about everything. She spends most of the day in my bedroom, and only comes out if she hears me at my desk or when I do videos at the table, LOL. She'll also sneak out early in the morning when I am doing my scripture reading, and climb on the back of it. I have a whole crowd of animals with me in the mornings now.

People must know you are a softy for animals. A neighbor had a cat outside and never took care of it. It had 3 kittens under our place and I feed to the kittens were big. Mama was catching food for them. Then they were all gone and now again the neighbor moved away and left the cat and its up here with 3 new kittens. I think its so cruel for the animals. I don't see the kittens they are wild mother is wild, she will come to eat, but can't touch her. I put stray box in 2 places. Don't know where they are hiding. I am 82 and I take a big thing of milk and food down over a hill to our way to the basement under our deck. I use a 4 prong cane so I don't fall we live in northwest pa and snowing like crazy now. I do not like winter. Thank you. Do they call you Connie for short? My aunts name was same as yours but they called her Connie.

Growing up, my parents and everyone always called me Conni. But as an adult, I find that I prefer Constance. My family still calls me Conni though, can't change family ;)

We just got a new kitten. She is a tuxedo cat, we named her Bessie because she’s messy & marked like a Holstein cow 😊 what did you name your new cat? My older (over 20) house cat wants nothing to do with her & has decided to live in my bedroom..hopefully she gets over it.

I reckon it's a lot harder to edit videos than to actually prepare the foods. Thanks for putting from-scratch cooking within the beginner's reach. I read one of you posts, regarding dementia. I was a boy when milk was still being left, by the milkman, on the porch - no porch pirates back in that day. My mother, and everyone else's mother, cooked from scratch, and by osmosis, so did we kids. Food prep took time, and mother wasn't about to do it all by herself, not when kids were handy! There were no ingredient listings on the basics and basic ingredients were all we knew. I'm now 70 and will likely attain 71, God be willing. I've cooked from scratch my whole life. My health is good to great and my dreamlife, in sleep, is phenomenal. A novice archer, my eyesight is excellent, for my age. I don't know what causes dementia, but I don't think it is caused by eating home cooked food. The elderly are full of good advice...well, advice. Find a local spring and fill your glass with it and bring it home. Find, on Google, roads named, "Spring Road" or "Spring Hill Rd" or the like. The springs still flow, gather you some up.
