What a heartwarming story.. I’m in tears… in a heartfelt way. My father and brother fell victim to the struggle of drugs use in the 80’s but it never took away the fact that I loved them both! If only people where more in tune with each other and there surroundings… they would come across many more heartfelt stories. If only humanity would remember their humanity, judge not, find understanding and not harden their hearts the earth and it’s inhabitants would be a much better place and heal. But One day, that Day will come, the Day that has been predestined and it is written in the stars…. Looking forward to that glorious day! Thank you for sharing your story ❤

This is soo heavy for me, I had to deal with people hating on loved ones b/c they used or was obesed. I had to deal with physicans and care professionals who looked down on them. Treated them as if they were second hand or not worthy. I'm telling you right now. When we leave this earth no status, degree, profession or money is going to stop us from all being equal in our demise. People need to think about that before looking down on others. You don't know their story.

I was wondering what happened to him. I knew he had got off the streets but then sank back into addictions again. Although the Vikings lost the game (16-6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl) Jackie had a great game that day. I watch it on DVD from time to time.
