To add to what others said about Hilma and the eight fingers being subjucated to the roaches room. The reason she has sunken cheeks is a consequence from the trauma of roaches. She and the others can't eat solid food anymore due to ptsd which led to her losing a lot of weight compared to season 2. That's why she seems so pale and sick. the reason she was so moved ( said in the novel) is that she lived in constant fear of punishment but seeing Ainz being genuinely rational, she and the others finally have a motivation/goal other than fear, they want to work hard so that they get promoted and can work directly under Ainz, a merciful leader.

He knows it's not right nor fair to punish Hilma which has nothing to do with the attacks and if Albedo kept persistent he would have told her she should also be punished just like him due to her words. The servants are too quick to cut down valuable resources due zealously to Ainz." Yeah Hilma and her gang are crooks but they are well organized in the underworld and Ainz has no one, not even humanoid servants that could handle mingling with other humans to keep ties and trades, Albedo's words of looking down on widows and the people are proof he can't trust them enough to handle the dealings of the court and people since they can't even control their actions of striking down anyone that even casual talk with Ainz or ask/question him. When he wanted the guide master to not hold back his opinions with Ainz it was so he can have a conversation without bias for him. If he makes a mistake he wants someone to tell him before it gets worst. That's why he trusts Pandora's actor more with his personal feelings and thoughts than with Albedo or Demiurg

Pretty much. They want to show Ainz that they aren't worthless so he won't abandon them like they think the other Supreme Ones did. So they end up overcompensating in the case of Demiurge. Pandora's Actor is the only one that's not as afraid to be candid with Ainz, since they have a similar personality (PA's being more exaggerated, but still the same). Shame the anime never explained the minor details like the Guardians would legitimately rather die than find out Ainz had left them.

Any attempt at escape was blocked off and they realized that Jaladaboth was Ainzes subordinate and Momon and Momon was not an option either. Then when they meet Ainz he shows Hilma actual respect causing her to admire him and believe they should become his direct subordinates instead of wording indirectly through the guardians if they want to have any chance of surviving.

Fun facts: 1.The noble goading Phillip on is a bit smarter then he seems. You can see him become visibly irritated with Philip at 2:40 . Not *too* smart though, as he still didn't think about the long term consequences of setting Philip up to do something stupid. 2. Renner was actually equally as stunned as Albedo and Demiurge. To the point where Zanac completely stopped caring about the looming threat a war with Ains meant for a moment, because he was overjoyed at finally seeing his sister completely shocked and confused. Unfortunately this was cut. 3. All the members of the Eight Fingers were subjected to torture in the room of cockroaches. Where they were eaten from the inside out and then healed over and over. They were traumatised to the point where they all genuenly bonded over their shared experience and , instead of scheming against each other like they used to , are actively working to make sure nobody ever experiences what they did. 4. The Theocracy and the Dragin Kingdom, while not ruled by Ains or even supportive of the founding of the Sorcerer Kingdom backed Ains on this for their own reasons: A) The Baharuth Empire, which is now a vassal state, and by extension the Sorcerer Kingdom is suppporting the Dragon Kingdom with soldiers and provisions in their war against the Minotaur tribes. So they want to stay in their good graces B)The Theocracy thinks the Kingdom is an absolute lost cause at this point. They had been trying to dismantle it since season 1 from the shadows, but Ains is basically doing all their dirty work for them now.
