Granted the singing isn't the best but it's the reasoning behind the singing that is important. Whilst our soldiers do their duty overseas they leave behind wives, families and friends that suffer just as much emotional stress as our troops. This singing is to show recognition for both sides of the same coin, showing support for the soldiers and rallying together as those that have to suffer so that we may have the freedoms we enjoy.
@LuE879 жыл бұрын
Who cares if they were not opera singers? We forget the ones left at home suffer the most What have you done today to make me proud? This!

From an Ex Aussie Serviceman, I loved this and think they deserve better than some of the disparaging comments. They're not professional Singers but delivered a Heartfelt Performance and are to be congratulated on their efforts. Well Done!.

Not often am I moved to tears. But rooted in the very soil the poppies grew, I stand in admiration and thankfulness. The ladies are unforgatteble, as are those who served... Too often people forget about the 'service' part of Military Service; I don't.

Almost 8 years later ... I hear these angels singing. Beautiful!

To all you guys talking about the singing quality: I think that fact that this is just a bunch of ordinary women, who are armature singers, makes the whole thing much better than if pro-singers had been involved. Don't you have any feels guys?

I wish "Flash Mobs" were in vogue while I was still an active duty Army wife!! I would have loved to do this to show my support!! Amazing Ladies!! Bravo!

All those people who are saying horrible things. It would take a lot of courage to do something like this and it shows amazing support for the armed forces. So what if they are out of tune? I think its really well done and sounds great, I don't see what everybody is complaining about.

Best flash mob video ever, simply because the sound sounds original - rather than the treated tosh you normally get.

more of a mall choir performance than a flash mob - you know...with the matching outfits and such...but what a great sound. Simply delightful. Great group of caring people.

BRAVO LADIES! Only thing is, I couldn't understand a word they said? Their accent is very strong compared to the American accent. But the Scottish accent is more beautiful...Gave me goosebumps, how all women do this for their men in the Armed Service...Thank-you Ladies!

It is so great to know the poppy is just as meaningful in Europe as the "Buddy Poppy" is in the United States. It's heart inspiring to see the look in veterans eyes as we hand them a "Buddy Poppy". Sometimes it's a tear and sometimes it's a smile. Our "Buddy Poppy" is constructed by veterans in nursing homes and purchased from them by us, Veterans of Foreign Wars. We then distribute to anyone who wants to display "they care".
@StampinOnWheels10 жыл бұрын
There will always be haters. It's an unfortunate fact. What have THEY done today to make them feel proud? If bashing a beautiful tribute from military wives is the best they can do then go on and hate. The rest of us will still support them. No ugly thing you can say will take away the heart of what this video showed.

Wonderful tribute for the armed forces. In the U.S. and Canada, Poppy Day is usually on November 11th - Veteran's Day or in Canada, known as Remembrance Day. We also have Poppy Day on Memorial Day at the end of May.
